A friend of mine recently shared a video with me of Susan Hunt teaching about being a Titus 2 woman. This was one of my favorite principles she talked about. The picture is from my front yard. A beautiful reminder of his love.

I have had this song running through my mind as we've been praying for our friend who went into brain surgery today. May they feel God's strength wrapped around them and holding them together today and the days to come.
“No one lights a lamp, then hides it in a drawer. It’s put on a lamp stand so those entering the room have light to see where they’re going. Your eye is a lamp, lighting up your whole body. If you live wide-eyed in wonder and belief, your body fills up with light. If you live squinty-eyed in greed and distrust, your body is a dank cellar. Keep your eyes open, your lamp burning, so you don’t get musty and murky. Keep your life as well-lighted as your best-lighted room.” Luke 11:33-36 The Message
This is the first photo in a Psalm 23 Series that Freedom Walkers' photographer, Wintergail, has done...More to come in the future. A blessed reminder of our Shepherd...
My Life Verses...Do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Jesus, the mystery hidden for ages... He is able Romans 16:25
I lift me eyes to the hills, from where does my help come? My help from? My help comes from the Lord... Psalm 121:1

As troubles came this week to Boston the fragility of life seems all the more real. As troubles come, may we hide ourselves in God, feel His arms around us, and His peace within us…May God heal the brokenhearted and comfort those who mourn.
How easy it is to slip into the bonds of death, sin, fear...forgetting what Jesus did for me on the cross. I want to LIVE in VICTORY!
I want to live as if I know in the depths of my soul that God's love endures. When my world seems to be falling apart, I want to remember that He is holding it together. When I'm hurt and feeling rejected, I want to remember that He remembers me. When trapped with guilt or confusion, I want to remember that just as He set the Israelites free from Egypt, He has made me free! Thank you, Lord! We praise you, our God, whose love endures forever!
