         as the words INFILTRATED her ears, her body froze && hands balled into fists in her pockets. for the first few seconds bella could do nothing else but STARE. when she noticed the look hadlee was giving her, she immediately moved to speak, but her lips could only open and close. it would be an understatement if one would say that she was fumbling for words. eventually bella swallowed.

So maybe this wasn’t the BEST APPROACH into telling Bella; but Hadlee couldn’t just not tell her. She felt like it would be betrayal. To simply... LIE. “---because you two were, I ‘unno, a thing? Or whatever?” And god; that look. The Lakota wolf was practically expecting an explosion from the brunette before her. “---you sure you’re not mad? You look like I just punched you in the gut.”
