He watched as his Pokemon founded another trainer’s Pokemon to play with. His Azumarill playing with another Azumarill. Everest smiled softly and looked around the area to see if he could spot who the Pokemon belonged to.
He noticed a young green-haired boy relaxing near and thought to ask. “Excuse me. Is that your Azumarill? It seems like like my Azumarill and yours are becoming good friends.”
He flinches a little at the sound of a voice, relaxing a little as his Gallade nudged him comfortingly. He really did need to get better at the whole social interaction thing. “ Oh! Y-yes that’s Ariel. She’s a social one for sure. “
With a smile, the swimmer sat down near the other boy. He wasn't too sure if he should have said something beforehand, but he stayed silent.
After watching the two Pokemon play, Everest turned towards the boy. "I'm sorry if I scared you earlier. That wasn't my intensions." He extended his hand outward towards his fellow beach-goer."I'm Everest. I don't believe we've met before."
To Everest : have you peed and swam at the same time
Everest was silent for bit. Did he just hear that question correctly? “You mean like peed in the pool while I was swimming?” The swimmer shock his head no. “I have not, fortunately. Though, I don’t see how people could do so. It’s gross and totally throws the chemicals in the pool off.”
It’s with a chuckle that he lets Ariel out of her pokeball, watching with a smile as the rabbit pokemon dove into the ocean. He’d made a decision to let his team off of training for the day, instead taking the opportunity to visit the beach at Lilycove. He lets out a happy sigh as he takes a seat, Aero choosing to hang out with him instead of getting his feathers wet. This really was the life.

It had to be one of the most beautiful and exciting places he’d ever been. The artwork at the museum was stunning. The scenery was stunning. The beach, the lighthouse, the department store, every piece of the city was astounding. How Aurelien had never been to Lilycove was beyond him. How could anyone go through life without seeing such a lovely place?
Though one of the things he’d heard about upon arrival wasn’t anything listed. In the contest hall there was supposed to be a show done with water pokemon and their trainer. How exciting! A performance that drew on pokemon of a particular type, it had to be yet another stunning option.
So, heading his way toward the hall at a leisurely pace, Ary took in more of the sights before finally arriving and asking the attendant at the front desk about it, being directed toward one of the stages and getting himself a ticket to be let into the staging area.
He was excited to say the least, and would have to try and speak to the performer after the show. Anyone who did performances had to be interesting to talk to. Besides, he wanted someone from the area to suggest spots to be before he settled on a spot to sketch, and meeting local performers and artists was on his list of things to do.
He settled into his seat, excited to see what might happen.
Backstage, he was pacing back and fourth in a small area. This wasn’t the first time he put on his show, but it was the first time putting on his show in a theater-type setting, and in front of a larger crowd. He paused when the lights flickered backstage, signaling him it was time to start.
Everest put of his mic, turned it on and began to speak. “Come one, come all!” He began, trying his best to not sound rushed or nervous. “You’re just in time to witness the spectacular show in all of Hoenn! The Hoenn Water Show!”
With the curtain opening, and applause from the audience, the trainer’s Azumarill walked on stage and bow. The Pokemon turned and faced the side of the stage area where Everest walked on and waved to his viewers.
“Okay, Azumarill, ready?” He asked the Pokemon and the water mouse nodded. “Rain Dance!”
With the command from her trainer, the Pokemon did a small dance and it began to rain on stage. A small rain cloud appearing above the stage and Everest’s other Pokemon appeared from it; Gyarados, Corsola, Floatzel, and Swanna.
Everest motioned to the other Pokemon and all the Pokemon on stage began to dance in unison with the Azumarill as the leader.
After a few more dancing in the rain, the stage master noted it was time for their final act. His Pokemon gathered around him and looked towards the audience. “Okay guy,” He said towards the audience. “I hope you all brought raincoats because it’s about to get wet!”
With that being said, Azumarill did her rain dance. Instead of the rain cloud appearing on stage, a larger cloud appeared above the crowd of onlookers. Floatzel hoped up and down and disappeared in a rush of water, bouncing off the walls with it’s Aqua Jet through the falling rain. Swanna used an Ice Beam, and the reflected surface made the room turn blue.
Following the color of the room changing, Gyarados began its Dragon Dance and Corsola Flailed about. Within seconds, the rain stopped, hovering is place, and came together to form bigger water droplets which began to circle around Everest and his Pokemon.
The water droplets came closer together, engulfing the trainer in the newly formed water ball. Floatzel ‘jumped’ in, and began to swim rapidly in circles. The water ball began to stretch and form a small whirlpool with Everest now standing at the top waving to the people. Within seconds, the whirlpool died, landing Everest safely on center stage, the room becoming its original lighting, and the rain cloud above the audience growing smaller until it died on the stage.
“Thank you for coming, everyone!” He said loudly, waving and bowing towards the audience. “I’ll be in the lobby in 10 minutes to thank everyone personally!”
And with that, Everest walked off stage, followed by his Pokemon.
Hello! Hello! Most of you may know me, if not, let me introduce myself. I’m David. Along with Everest, I also play Ethan and Sabrina here in the Park. It’s nice to met you all!
Anyway, this is a starter call, I guess. So, like this or message me and we’ll plot. or something? Sound good? Cool! I can’t wait to interact with everyone, again, with a new muse!
