thank you for this i think about grandpa’s fucked up bed at least once a week, i think it’s because there is so much care and attention given to all the other visuals in this game, even in this image ALONE the fire with the grate and the sword and the little jumino and the symbol of yoba and the intricate wallpaper and two different light sources and then HERE’S GRANDPA taking his final breaths on what looks like a rickety-ass trampoline like “oh we want grandpa to be warmed by the fire tonight let’s put him on an ALUMINIUM BUFFET TABLE WITH A WONKY LEG AND A SINGLE SHEET BETWEEN HIM THE COLD FRAGILE METAL THAT IS CLEARLY BUCKLING UNDER HIS WEIGHT this shall ease his passing”
