He stared at her, curiosity within his eyes as those petal pink lips and ivory white teeth bit into the black cookie. Madara smirked to himself as her tongue swept over her bottom lip, capturing the last crumbs that she had missed. She looked so innocent and carefree, sitting there beside him on their couch, in their small, yet comfortable house. They were in their pajamas, spending the afternoon in after a night of exhausting events. His gaze was soft and almost loving, tracing the delicate curve of her small button nose, and down to the cupids of her lip, and a small crumb that rested on her bottom lip was soon swept away by that delicious tongue of hers. The Uchiha leaned forward, supporting his head with his fist on his chin as he continued to keep his eyes on her, entranced as Mei brought another oreo up to her lips. He was captivated by her - even by such a simple action as eating a plate of oreos while the television blared in the background. Madara couldn’t care less about the TV. But the brunette who sat next to him was entranced, only until he had found himself leaning in admiring her features did she turn, looking at him in surprise as his hand had found its way up, brushing the fringe out of her eyes and tucking it behind her ear.
“What’s with that stupid smile…?” She half grumbled, emerald eyes never leaving the pair of onyx.
“Nothing.” He grinned, a thumb tracing down her cheek, brushing over her lips.
She looked surprise as Madara ended up reaching for her wrist, his eyes tempting her as Mei brought it over to him, giving him a soft smile and pressing the cookie against his thin lips.
He had no interest in the cookie, but ate it anyways. Never particularly having a sweet tooth, Madara bit back his usual complaints and ate it, coming face to face with his original desired prize. The corner of his lips tugged into a tempting smirk as his tongue grazed over her fingers.
He edged closer, enjoying her soft gasp of surprise that replied to the warmth of his tongue. Madara trailed kisses down her fingers and across her palm, half lidded eyes watching her, breathing in her slowly escalating pants of breath. He stopped when he reached her wrist, gaining a small whimper of complaint from the female.
A low chuckle sounded from his throat as Madara pulled the brunette in, wrapping his arms around her frame. It wasn’t like him to display such signs of affection. But this woman had always seemed to bring out such different emotions out of him it was very much nerve wracking yet soothing at the same time.
Petite hands that were pressed up against the Uchiha’s chest soon found their way around his waist. These acts were rare, and Mei would always treasure it. She smiled, peaceful within his arms before giving him a light squeeze. Mei could hear the beating of his heart, which was calm and strong.
“I love you…” She found herself mumbling, closing her eyes as she felt him go still.
A sigh left his lips after a while, the male once again smirking at her words. Madara would’ve chuckled if it wouldn’t ruin the moment - but instead, he kissed the top of her head, giving her a light squeeze in return.
