You say I'm the manipulative one? You're the one that convinced me to stay after you dropped me like I was dirt. You're the one that came to my house late at night crying, throwing yourself into my arms telling me that there was no one else for you but me. You're the one that called me late at night wanting me to come over when you were in need, in pain. You're the one that blatantly lied about seeing someone else while having sexual relations with me. You're the one that lied to my face about having a hickey from another man while the same day telling me you loved me UNCONDITIONALLY and that you weren't giving up on me. You went to prom with "your girlfriend." Another lie. And I'm the manipulative one. You dropped me like dirt. Then you picked me up and told me everything was going to be okay, that you loved me, that you wanted to be with me, that you regretted everything. Oh no. You didn't mean any of it, trying to fix things was just "for my sake." Bull. You wouldn't torture someone for their own sake. To have that level of disrespect for someone who loved you with everything they were for nearly three years is incomprehensible to me. You were a diamond Bridget. I will always remember the good with the hope that it wasn't completely a lie.
