Day 29. I just want to say thank you to everyone for all the love and support. Making these comics each day have been crazy draining and stressful at times. It has been like passing a month long kidney stone! Each day I would get small panic attacks about what story I was going to tell and whether or not people would understand them or get offended…The entire month of January I was in a quiet panic because I knew this was coming up. And all the support has been amazing. There were so many days that I wanted to skip or just end early but I didn’t because of the amount of people telling me to keep going and that they appreciated it. It’s been both encouraging and extremely depressing to see the amount of African American people who have responded to me saying that they have been feeling the exact same way but never wanted to talk about it. Towards the end I became stressed out because I was getting so many stories and there are just not enough days in February to talk about them all! So please, if you have friends of color. Not just Black or African American friends, but any friends of other ethnicities, take time to talk to them about their stories and learn about cultures other than your own. Thank you, sincerely. And sorry this was so long. <3
My Fav Movies x Lemonade’s poetry
Life is like a roller coaster, live it, be happy, enjoy life.
Oregon Coast | August 2015
My life lately: last to bed, first to rise, sick, tired, but always pushing forward, constantly reminiscing about good times, and hoping the future is just as great.

Dehumanizing stereotypes have existed in American culture from the very beginning. Centuries later, and racism remains the default justification for discrimination and brutality.
As a lot of people talk about how 2015 was a wonderful year, I, however, have felt like nearly every day was filled with struggling just to make it through to the next. From January on- 2015 was filled with loss of loved ones, pain, fear, excitement of a new baby turned into heartbreak, emergency surgery, temporary job loss , struggle, and then every following day trying to catch my breath. I am beyond blessed to have such an amazing husband by my side, my rock, who fought through it all with me, as many were his bad days too, we held together and were an “us” more than ever before; as well blessed to have a mighty God to walk me through and get me back to where I am today. He has dusted me off and put me back up on my feet, as well as helped our family overcome anything that was thrown at us. I don’t have an outrageous resolution to claim this year, other than believing that 2016 will be better than the last, and knowing and truly believing that when you allow Him to, God really can get you through the worst of times; which in my life, is the exact resolution that I need. All the bad this year has broken me down, but ironically has given me more strength than I had before. Sure, there were amazing days too and I’m going to hold on to those, but I am so ready to hit that reset button tonight. I am standing back up and starting fresh and you can too. Let’s do this.
You are beautiful, you are smart and you are funny. You are kind, you are unique, you are worthy of love and affection. You are never too much and you are always enough. You are precious, and you are the most stunning of all gods creation. You’re worth more than you could ever imagine. Worth more than the numbers on the scale, the hair product you use or the shoes you wear. More than how many girls wish they were you or how many guys wish they had you. More than the price tags on your clothes or the number of friends you have on social media. Your worth surpasses all earthly things, because in the eyes of the Lord, you are loved.. And you are worth dying for. Regardless of who you think you are, or who you think you’re not. Whether you model products in a magazine or you model pottery in a beaten down shed. Whether you’re on the ‘hot list’ or the ‘not list’. Whether you were the high school captain or the high school drop out. Whether you’re miss popular, or you’ve never had anyone you could call a friend. Whether you love yourself and love your life, or you can’t stand looking in the mirror and you feel as if everything is falling apart. Whether you’re a constant winner or you feel like the worlds biggest failure. Regardless of who you think you are, the reality is that you deserve someone who would give up their life for you; because you are powerful, strong, and capable. Trust me — read about the women in the bible; Esther, Ruth, Martha, Mary, these women changed the world forever.. And inside of you, yes each and every one of you; is a woman with that same power and that same strength, and that same world changing capability. Your responsibility is to find that woman, and set that woman free. This is who you are; and any voices in your mind that try and tell you differently are from the enemy, and next time you hear them this is what you say.. “I am a daughter of the living God, cherished, loved and adored above all things, by the creator of all things for the glory of Him who is greater than all things. I am wonderful!“ #100daycreativechallenge
