From her previous EP 'Black Book' to 'Lemongrass and Limeleaves' you can understand her growth as as artist and we are definitely going to follow her throughout her journey. With two new tracks '6"4' and 'Memories' to get our claws into we are spoilt for choice when it comes to picking a favourite! KIERON BOOTH #IFLY EP

Can I just start off by saying we are so embarrassed over here at FRESH FRUTA! As if we didn’t know about Kieron Boothe! The 20 year old East London boy is bringing something different to the table. He has recently released an EP called ‘It Feels Like Yesterday’ and he reached out to us to check him out and we are so glad he did!

The smooth talking ‘Never Let You Go’ rapper is the new cool kid with a lot to offer on this EP alongside a team of great producers including Aaron London who he has worked with on previous projects showcasing their talents and their eclectic taste for music. The EP contains so many different beats from the typical Old School Hip-Hop beats he dabbles in R&B, grime and soft rock he has music for all types of listeners who are bored of the regular gritty music we may be used to.

His vision and curiosity when it comes to music is something that will take him a long way. Hip Hop is about telling a story and that’s exactly what he does in his music, the delivery is innovative and fresh playing around with skits from Scarface and Horrible Bosses you cant predict what the next song is going to sound like. Kieron is clearly highly influenced by the UK scene but we really enjoy his ‘Drake-esque’ sound in ‘Nothing New’ now we don’t know if he was trying to channel Drake but we love it!

The new word smith is part of a team called Suave Society a bunch of creatives who have something different to offer to the scene so were going to keep an eye for them over here!

Maxsta has recently released ‘The Maxtape 1.5’ and has given us a cheeky little video to his track with Big Shizz from The Rascals. We love the chilled out Max and the visuals in this track are great we digg and the whole amateur documentary feel it has to it. We slept on you for a second Max we’re sorry!

JAY BADS THE RAPPER EP 'JBTR'

            Well first of all we just want to point out that this EP 'self entitled 'JBTR' (Jay Bads The Rapper) has been highly anticipated on this side of the pond! 

Now this is Jay Bads FIRST EP and the production on this is amazing, you can just feel the passion and the dedication running through this EP.

Ever since the team stumbled across this guy on Soundcloud with his track 'Believe me' as corny as it sounds it was love at first listen! Since then the wait for the then 20 year old has had us on look out and I guess we don't have to look any further.

If you love chilling in your room with your friends zoning out to the likes of De La Soul, Snoop Dogg and Ab Soul with Boyz In The Hood in the background then I can guarantee you that this EP is for you.

As a young artist he knows who he is and the sound that his heart has connected with is Hip Hop from the early 90's now he was born in 1993 but when it comes to music hes an old soul.

Every song is so different with the use of samples from various old school hip hop jams yet he brings his own flavour to it and its hard to pick a No.1 track off this, we're already on our 7th listen!

We would just like to congratulate Jay Bads on such a great start and we cant wait for some more!

Oh and we just LOVE the artwork!!

Sorry but who said that music had to be perfect?! This song 'Hardly' by Royce Wood Junior ft Rosie Lowe is full of mash ups and blips and random instrumentals but it works SO WELL. Its imperfections makes it so much more perfect. We love everything about this song from the vocals to the beat... The song has so much going on its so un-explainable so were going to call it a beautiful nightmare! You don't know what to expect next or how hes going to switch up the beat in the next 5 seconds and that's what makes it so great and exciting which is what music is all about! This is musical art. We are officially hooked and searching for more Royce Junior Wood on Youtube as two songs on Soundcloud just aren't enough for us! Be sure to check him out! These days the producers hold the cards and they are the main artists on their tracks featuring other artists! Producers are standing up and taking full responsibility for the master pieces they create. This is a Trend that the likes of Kove, Naughty boy and Disclosure are a part of. They speak through the beats! A bit like Timberland without the rap attempt! Kove is known for his sick drum and bass beats and after his last hit ‘My Love For You’ we just had to get involved with this and its just another hit for him in our eyes. ELLI INGRAM DOGHOUSE EP

Who said GOOD MUSIC is dead?

Elli Ingram has delivered once again, this girl has been compared to the likes of Adele and the comparison is evident but she has something oh so different shes a fruit of cocktail of different sounds, tones and moods.

Fashion certainly repeats itself and Elli is making this happen with her music giving us a taste of modern jazz, old school 90's RnB in "Caught Up" and a bit of the Elli we all know from 'Sober' with 'When it was dark" this girl is an old flame her soul pours out in her music and we can feel it.

Don't think we've forgotten about the producers either who she works so very closely with her partner in crime Felix Joesph who is amazing and Aston Rudi!

G FRSH has been in the game for years alongside the likes of Sincere, Kano and Chipmunk hes been around them all. Now hes signed to Disturbing LDN and he is constantly delivering that unpredictable fire. like his fashion sense we don’t know what to expect but we know it will always be FRSH.

He is still perfecting his craft and here at FRESH FRUTA we have grown with him throughout the years and can honestly see nothing but better for him he has’nt left behind his roots recently releasing a ‘Dont Waste My Time Remix’ from rap duo Krept and Konan but he keeps the balance and that is what is allowing him to become such a great artist!

As always his lyrical skills are on point! Big up Sonny Reeves on this track also they compliment each other on this track and it takes you into another realm!
