To be fully transparent (and a lil emotional hehe) I think to date, this drawing is the BEST thing I've ever made and I've both never been prouder of myself as well as amazed at how far I've come! I think honing in on core things I didn't initially learn has really helped me connect so many skills in art I've struggled with connecting together, and as a result I feel like I've grown a LOT in a short time (but in reality I guess it wasn't short haha)

And the best thing I can also say if you're stuck in that spot of feeling stagnated; it will pass. I promise. But you need to be patient with yourself above all else!!

I drew this over 10 years ago and after 10+ years of patience, persistance, and (honestly)blindly believing in future me, I feels good to take a second and celebrate myself! All artists should do this; making isn't easy. But comparing is. So at the very least, look back at what you've done and really take in how far you've already gotten! <3

I really wanna bring attention to another fundraiser I trust.

This fundraiser belongs to a man named Hossam Bardawil who has lost so much due to this war. Not only has he lost his material belongings, his job, his home, but more importantly, he's lost his family. His parents and siblings tragically lost their lives, and now Hossam is trying to survive, living out of a tent in horrific conditions.

Now, Hossam is tasked with looking after the remaining family, including his nieces and nephews, as well as their mothers, as they navigate this terrifying world they are in. He's raising funds now to evacuate to safety.

This guy knows what he’s talking about. He’s one of the lead writers for Leverage and if you ever watch the series on DVD, do yourself a favor and listen to him talk about how the scripts got written. Some of the advice he has is stuff I use all the time: 1. Don’t introduce an important plot person or thing after the first half of the story. 2. Always tie up loose ends. 3. Introduce important things in the middle of unimportant things. 4. If you have to infodump, find an emotion to tie it to and it will seem less like infodump and more like a motive rant. Seriously this guy knows how to write.
