Considering Ibuki wants to play Rock Band today, the gamer fishes her instruments out of her closet. It’s been a while since she’s had a chance to hang out with the rock star.

She turns on the Xbox 360 and puts in the disc for Rock Band 3. She then turns on the instrument controllers. Now then, to wait for Ibuki herself. Chiaki finds her best performances when doing percussion instruments, so she’ll take the drums Chiaki sets up the drums in front of her chair and lowers them some. She lightly places the drum sticks on the little pads and checks the pedal. It works just fine.

This is going to be a pretty fun gaming session. Hopefully.

It certainly has been a long time since she's hung out with the gamer girl, and with that in mind, Ibuki felt her spirits lift suddenly when she had been invited to play a video game that wouldn't be a problem for her at all. Seeing Chiaki is a bonus.

Knocking with a steady 3-3-7 beat on the girl's door, she rocked back and forth excitedly on her heels. "Chiaki-chaaaaan, Ibuki has arrived and is 10000% ready to rock out!" She chimes happily. Knowing the other, she probably was already setting things up before Ibuki even showed up.

I tried that trick today where you chew gum while chopping onions so you don’t cry and it worked! Then my mom came home and I said, “Hey Mah I’m chopping onions and I’m not crying, know why?” And without even looking up from the mail she was opening, she said: “because you’re dead on the inside.”

Mikan tilts her head, not exactly understanding the question. She was always by herself. So rather, the odd occasion would be stopping and talking to anyone, especially someone as loud and energetic as Ibuki. “A-ah… Th-this is normal for me, i-isn’t it?”

"Ibuki meant, like, what're you up to? Being all by yourself seems kinda lonely, don't 'cha think so?" She hummed. "Never fear, Ibuki is here to save the day! Tah-dah! Oops, uh-- tah-dah," Ibuki had almost went back to shouting in excitement. She was trying, at least?

Mikan jumped a little in surprise. The musical girl was loud, and came practically out of nowhere. That was more than enough to scare the easily intimidated Mikan. “A-ah…” She looks around, before muttering something that sounds like ‘If it’s not too much of a bother, could you be quieter’, but with how quietly she said it, it would be easily missed.

By anyone who wasn’t Ibuki, anyways, with that girl’s hearing.

"Eh? You want Ibuki to quiet down? Okay, can do!" She paused abruptly, blinking. "Oops, uh, okay, can do," Ibuki repeated at a lower volume. The poor girl was so easily startled, and she'd nearly forgotten that. "But, yeah, hey, what're you doing by yourself?"

This was starting to become a rather odd occurance, meeting people as she ventures on her daily walks. But it wasn't as if she would complain, nor would she stop any time soon. It looked like this time, she would encounter yet another cute face. What luck.

"Ooooi, Chiaki-chaaaan!" The musician waved to her excitedly.

"A-ahh? Did any of you need any medical help…?" As far as Mikan was concerned, that was the only reason anyone would approach her. She was the Super High School Level Nurse, so naturally people could rely on her medical knowledge. Oh, but what if she messed it up?

"Ibuki's health is one-huuundred percent top-notch, butterscotch!" Ibuki singsonged loudly as she approached the stuttering nurse, as she before had only been wandering aimlessly. It appeared that was how she was going to encounter conversation nowadays, and, well, if it meant more run-ins with cute faces, then so be it! "Hiya, Mikan-chan! What're you doin' all by your lonesome?"
