Galatea is another aquatic Ridgeback and Balbuoy’s original teacher. She’s an old and powerful water sorceress who is also very well versed in spell magic.

She agreed to take on a young Balbuoy as an apprentice and basically raised her. Galatea disagreed with Balbuoy’s decision to leave the apprenticeship to strike out on her own, but still loves and supports her.

Coelestian columns take inspiration from the ancient palaces of the water flight. They often feature abalone, quartz, and other sea-occurring minerals and typically incorporate celestial motifs.

Earthborn columns utilize minerals found in the desert, but often call back to the White Wasteland’s past life as a thriving ocean. They often bear mosaics depicting kelp beds and aquatic creatures.

The Neo-Citadel style is derived primarily from Coelestian architecture with some Earthborn influence. Depleted sacridite has a tendency to crop up in Neo-Citadel buildings, particularly temples dedicated to the Tidelord, sprung from the prophets’ unanswered laments.
