Thank you – and everyone – for sending such nice asks like this, and sharing your own personal experiences/advice. It really means so much to me, more than I can accurately put into words. I’ve read every single one.

We picked up Charlie today and got the more specific news that his cancer is most likely lymphocytic leukemia, and he’s currently on prednisone and a chemo-based pill to help control it (as opposed to intravenous treatment. Cant remember the name of it exactly; we have to go pick it up later today). Some people have mentioned starting a gofundme for surgery costs but, at this point, we don’t know if Charlie’s going to live for another month or another year. It’s hard to tell right now if surgery would be worth it.

However, if anyone has a spare dollar and would like to help out with his vet bills, both his visits combined came to just under $600.

Ko-fi would probably be the easiest, most straight forward way to donate. (Also, I don’t know if they want to be mentioned by name as they left their donations anonymous on the site, but to A.L. and A.R.K., someone who donated last week and someone who donated just last night, thank you so much. Both of your kind gestures have directly gone to pay off these bills, and I appreciate it immensely.)

You could also donate through Soul Void’s page, pick up an old Gumroad sketchbook, or even buy a cute little Slime Rancher T shirt, as I get a cut of each sale. Im also going to try and do an adoptable design auction to help pay for his expenses, but Im not sure if/when that will happen.

If you can’t spare anything extra though, I totally understand. Everyone has their own financial burdens going on in their lives; Charlie and I are just one of many. I’d only ask for you to keep this sweet baby potato in your thoughts, and maybe toss a prayer to what you believe in for a speedy recovery or, more realistically, a peaceful passing.
