I was very inspired by the Tuva Republic petroglyphs, two of the little stag depictions are copies (first two, top left) while the rest are my own drawings. A link to the original publication with the illustrations can be found here for those interested!

I know Pluribus is going to enter the annals of television because it's a rare current example of trusting your audience and not treating them with 'kid gloves' with metaphors boiled down to a mush for easy consumption. It's about colonialism it's about generative ai and addiction to convenience, it's about cults it's about queerness and assimilation, it's about consumerism it's about communication, the many barriers that exist to it and the irreplacable joy of connection between individuals, precious for its flaws and existing despite everything stacked against it.

Like I think no matter where the show goes from here, I'll probably be in a situation where I'm among annoying people or having a shit miscommunication time with them, and I'll remember this show and feel a smidge of gratefulness for the fact that I get to live in this frictioned imperfect world of assholes where anything can happen.
