Space Invaders chess set

This could fall into “things I don’t/shouldn’t care about” territory in so many ways. It’s a chess set, for one, and I don’t know how to chess.

It’s also a Kickstarter, and it’s probably in danger of being shut down by Taito/Square at any moment, at which point the authentic Invader shapes will probably replaced with knockoffs.

But look at the thing! If you want to pledge money toward one of these laser cut Invader chess sets, it’ll cost you $40, or $50 with the board. $20 gets you one of each character.

Borderlands 2 Ep 4: Handsome Jack is a Furry - Friendly Fire (by FFLPshow)

In this episode: We play Borderlands 2 and finally go after those bullymongs after killing off an entire camp of bandits. GRANDMA GOT RUN OVER BY SOME KOOPAS

Emporium of Fluff has impressed us time and again with their laser engraved holiday ornaments and this time is not exception.  These Mushroom Kingdom Heroes and Villains collection of ornaments are festive and fun additions to any gamer’s holiday decorations.

Metal Gear Solid, Revolver Ocelot boss fight, by anmeldungscrack.

Metal Gear Solid. That is such an awesome Game. So much love for detail. Maybe the best 8€s  i’ve ever spent.

It really is a hell of a game, and this fight was a pain in my ass the first couple of times.  And as much as “run in tight circles with slightly clunky controls” was not a particularly fun setup to deal with, I love that the fight came down tactically to Dirty Harryism in practice: in all that excitement, you’d better not lose count of how many shots he’s fired.

Awesome work as usual, man.
