"You do know that wandering around the woods at night is stupidly dangerous... Right?" Henley didn't think it had to be said out loud, but she was feeling snarky. It was rare that she wandered into anyone else this late at night while out in the forest.

Woody couldn’t help but smile at the concern. He tilted his hat and put his hands on his belt. “Good thing I’m always prepared for a little danger in a town like Walt’s.” Still, she wasn’t wrong. It was asking for trouble. But the supernatural were his responsibility as well, were they not? They lived in this town, too. He had conflicting feelings on the subject, truth be told. The need to protect humans from the supernatural vs the need to be kind to all. “What about you?””

Taylor couldn't help the way she stiffened as she saw the familiar badged Sheriff approach her. "Before you ask, no, I am not with Peter tonight." And she totally wasn't bitter about it. "And I don't know where he is, either."

Woody couldn't help but to huff out a laugh. He nodded, pursing his lips for a moment. "Fair enough," he responded, flashing her a smile. "You out on your own tonight, then?"

Woody didn't get out much not in uniform, it felt like. Some days it felt like that was all he ever was: Friendly Sheriff Woody. But it wasn't like he minded. He loved Walt's Landing, and had loved it his whole life. He wore his badge happily, feeling good about helping out his hometown.

"Howdy," he greeted when he saw someone walking toward him. Woody may not be from the south but he was a cowboy at heart. "How you doin' tonight?" He tilted his hat in the others' direction.
