Hey look
This blog still exists
I know nothing more annoying when people I donât know jump to conclusions on my person based on nothing but gossip or speculation.
frigxscorde:
ââ You do realize I have known him since birth.â aka: duh.
âYeah, well, wanted to give you a refresher.â
Jason was quiet for a moment before he continued, barely over a mutter.
âYou donât think Iâm like, super below your league or anything, do you?â
âThat would imply we are playing the same game, Jason.â
âGreg? Greg. Your brother is a rude ass bitch, did you know that? Because he is and I needed to make sure you knew that.â
â-- You do realize I have known him since birth.â aka: duh.
Blessing your timeline real quick.
chilixdogs:
âYou have a degree in getting degrees, I swear to god.â
He did in fact head over, swinging a leg over Gregâs lap to straddle him. Hands on the manâs shoulders, he gave him a playful squeeze before leaning in for a kiss. âMm, thank you for indulging me. I mean, I knew youâd win but part of me kinda hoped youâd let me win. Yâknow, because you love me.â
âI do love you--â Itâs casual and soft, like it always is when Greg admits it, hands sliding around Jasonâs waist as he settled back in his chair.
âBut that doesnât mean Iâm going to coddle your feelings.â
Nikolaj!!!!
frigxscorde:
âConsolation prizes are for people who donât break the board games.â
âI didnât break it.â Though he did put it away a little more gently.
âCâmon Gorgeous, help me feel better about being a complete goddamn failure at Monopoly?â
âI have a degree in economics what did you expect--â But heâs not moving to get up, which-- honestly-- is as much of an invitation for Jason to come closer as anything would be.
âYou wanted to play, so we played--â Mostly, he didnât want Jason thinking heâd been trying to make him feel bad.
Ser Jaime Lannister. Armour porn.
chilixdogs:
â⊠Yeeeees, Iâm done.â
He huffed, grabbing the box and dumping the game in it haphazardly. A cursed game like this didnât deserve to be put away gently.
âI think I should get a consolation prize.â
âConsolation prizes are for people who donât break the board games.â
theredwonder:
âUh, yeah. I thought we had an appointment, Mr. Stark. Or we could always reschedule if youâre⊠busy.â
People underestimating him and treating him like a kid was one thing, but to completely forget an appointment was another. He didnât have the time or energy to deal with this
Glancing up, he raised an eyebrow briefly before checking the time on his wrist-- humming and finally setting aside the papers to address Tim.
âYouâre early, mister Wayne.â
He went to stand, absently straightening his jacket before offering the (much) younger man a handshake. Being called âmisterâ went ignored, for now-- despite his preferred title being Doctor. Despite his having earned that some eight times over now.
âWhat can Stark Global Solutions do for you, today?â
chilixdogs:
âLet it be known that Jason Peter Todd doesnât quit! He finishes everything he starts!â He picked up the dice on his turn, throwing them down and glaring at the results. Even with his get-out-of-jail-free card he ended up on one of Gregâs lots. Looking down at the money he had leftâa few ones and fives, two Uno cards, Baltic and Mediterranean Ave, and a stick of chewing gumâhe knew he had lost. With a huff he crossed his arms, glaring at the board.
âIâm burning this board, itâs full of demons. Like a Ouija board.â
There was a comment to be made-- about once when Jason had been very drunk and tried to start something in the car, only to pass out with his hand down Gregâs pants-- But now wasnât the time.
âAre you done?â
chilixdogs:
âIâm not complaining. Iâm telling you why Monopoly is bullshit. It should be outlawed. Thatâs it, Iâm starting a Change.org petition.â He grumbled to himself as he picked up the dice to roll for his turn.
âWHY AM I IN JAIL AGAIN?!â
âLook, if youâre this annoyed by it, we can stop--â This had been Jasonâs idea in the first place-- Greg was just along for the ride, but his partnerâs continued grumbling had taken the already limited fun out of it for him.
âSeriously, who actually likes Monopoly? It takes too long, I end up in jailâa lotâand everyone else buys up the good spots and I get stuck with Baltic and Mediterranean. Monopoly can kiss my perfectly pert ass.â
âIf youâre done complaining about losing, itâs your turn.â Honestly, Jason, never play Monopoly with someone who runs a business empire. Just donât.
