School Starts Monday

(today, tomorrow, then schools starts)

I’m really nervous. I have had all this time to prepare but I feel so caught off guard.

I just cant spend a lot of money on school supplies so I’m procrastinating textbooks and I’m getting really anxious about it.

This is what I need to hear. I blamed myself for so long for the abuse I endured and for attracting the people that hurt me.

In reality, abusive people groom abuse victims from a very young age usually as children or young adults. And Abusers can detect already groomed people fairly easily and direct their abuse at them. It’s not your fault, but you it may be possible to learn to detect abusers and learn techniques to repel them. It isn’t easy, but it’s worth trying at least.

I want to send all my love to those out there who have shitty fathers on this Father’s Day. I have the greatest blessing of having both a great biological father and a great stepfather. Every Father’s Day I am amazed at how lucky I have been to get dealt the cards I have.

❕Animal mortality tw❕ I’m starting to be able to outrun him regularly now. He’s developing these masses all over his body. Our interval runs are now walks with short jogs thrown in. He cries a lot out of anxiety, and he’s lost more than half his vision. I love him so much, it’s hard to watch him fading away. He’s my handsome old man and I don’t want to let go.

I slept/stayed in bed until 1PM. But then I pushed myself to shower and water my plants. I got really fucked over by my psychologist yesterday so I think that was my wake up call to take a deep breath, re-evaluate and start over again.
