Color of Magic: A Review
If ever there was a book that seemed to mock but didn't, had an interesting plot, but didn't, made me want to know what happens next but didn't, it was this book.
I loved the adventures of Rincewind and Twoflower, oh, and the Luggage, but if I was asked WHY I liked it, I would not know how to answer that. Because, honestly, I don't know why. I loooved how this book is written even though some parts left me confused because its pace got unusually fast sometimes, not like I'm complaining. It's humorous and satirical and amusing and light. It's amazing. I appreciate how stuff borders on absurdity, which is intentional-the DISCworld on ELEPHANTS on a giant TURTLE whose sex is unknown(a 'vital' detail that's coveted by the astrozoologists). Now, while that might completely put some readers off this book, it had the opposite effect on me. It made me want to continue reading. The ending, I think was perfect. I was hoping that that would happen for the last quarter of the book. And, it did. So, YAY! :D This book's...different. And, enjoyable. It most definitely makes me want to continue reading the giant series.
Oh my God, I have that! >_>
Happiness is not a possession to be prized, it is a quality of thought, a state of mind.

Until I feared I would lose it, I never loved to read. One does not love breathing.
