Our first #InsightsmAgri post from the field. One of the things we seek out to accomplish when we talk to our participants is to screen and capture the “extreme users” of any given industry. The reason being is that by identifying the fringes of such archetypes, this helps to inform what the average profile looks like much more precisely than just interviewing the most average at all times.

When scraping data from social media, analytics can attribute patterns of behavior (such as hate speech) to individuals. This raises an ethical question around where data visualization should be applied and which audiences are appropriate consumers. #frogImpact

#uxforgood We visited a small educational center aimed at explaining the history of the genocide and of the reconstruction of Rwanda to children between 10-20 years-old. The humanization of the tragic events through real stories of perpetrators and survivors, and symbolic stories of the following reconciliation, help the new generation assume the critical thinking and empathy that are needed to run the country in the future. - Roberta Tassi
