He chuckles quietly and averted his gaze from the child and looked outside once more, mismatched eyes staring at something that was actually there. "Yes, training, you annoying little thing. Illusion training. I will not allow an apprentice of mine be horrible at them.”

“Well, I knew you would answer like that." Mukuro continues, fingers of his right hand tapping lightly against the hand-rest of the chair he was sitting on, "And, like I have already mentioned before, I don’t particularly care where you chose to stay." with a small sigh he then continues to talk, right hand’s fingers still tapping on the hand-rest, a small sign of his irritation, "It is for her best, that is all I will tell you.”

"Ehh. Master, so cruuuel. I'm not that annoying." He whined in a sarcastic tone. Fran turned his face away from his master, a small smirk crossing his face. "So much work, master..." He turned back to face his master, his brows furrowing as if he were already tired.

Fran watched his master grow a bit restless, the sound of tapping becoming even more vigorous. He was either really annoyed, or Fran touched a subject he did not wish to talk about. "Hmmn.. Is that so? That's a pity." Even though he didn't know Chrome that well, he knew that even though she's his elder, he could mess with her.

A bit surprised she looked at him.

“Ah, it’s alright." with a slightly tilted head she smiled to him. Not sure what to say or ask at all.

Fran resisted the urge to look at her again. As he predicted, she didn't change much, as awkward as ever. What was with her answer? It didn't really make sense... He thought, but he brushed it off. This is the type of person she was, but he didn't mind. In a way you can say he looked up to her.

"Hmmn. That so?" He stretched his arms again as he yawned. He averted his gaze, wondering what the two might be able to do or talk about. With a sigh, Fran stood.

"Wanna talk over some cake?" Fran asked, his brows furrowed at the silence. Girls liked cake, right? Lussuria loves backing and cakes, and he's technically one of the females in the Varia. Surely, he can make the girl more comfortable over something sweet.

She nodded quietly to his words.

“I understand…” she replied quietly. Feeling a bit bothered by the people watching them but trying to avoid their glares, caring less about them.

Fran watched her once again, not really finding the silence that awkward. Hey, it was better than being stabbed to death or being used for target practice. There was a short silence after Chrome had spoken, the two looking back to the people watching them.

The teen turned his attention to the violet girl once again, noticing a rather bothered expression on her face. Was it abnormal for her to be stared at in such a manner? Then again, she's not the one wearing a frog hat, but she also has a rather.. fruit-themed hairstyle.

"Hmmnn.." He yawned, stretching his arms, slightly feeling more comfortable with the weather. "We seem to attract quite a lot of attention.. Want to go somewhere else?" Fran brought up the question on a whim, it didn't really matter what her answer was, but he'd like to avoid yet another awkward silence.

She seated herself next to him carefully.

“Well,” she halted for a second. “I’ve gotten used to it.”

She forced a chuckle escaping her lips, but she felt really sad whenever that topic was brought up, though usually she’d ignore and try to suppress her feelings.

“Have you gotten used to the Varia or…?” as always her words came out hesitatingly, but better than before.

Fran watched as the violet girl sat next to him. This is probably one of the most normal moments in his life. He didn't really have much of an opinion of his senior, whether good or bad, but she was far better than his sadistic master and senpai.

"Hmn.. Is that so?" He narrowed his eyes, wondering why she forced such a weak laugh. So, she was sensitive on this topic, huh? Fran couldn't blame her, surely it must have taken a lot to gain the strength to leave his notorious master. He'll try to avoid the topic for now, though he couldn't care much about her feelings.

"Ah. They're an idiotic and noisy bunch. There has yet been a day where I wasn't preyed upon." He watched her, noticing how much of a conversationalist she had become. "It's best to not affiliate yourself with such troublesome people." Fran transferred his glare to the people passing by, a number of them giving the two weird glares.

With his admit, she quivered slightly with a small bow.

“I’m sorry!” her lips formed as an apology. “I didn’t mean to….”

And as usual she halted within her sentences, just as back then. Not a lot had changed of her person, maybe her outer appearance and also that she talked a bit more. Yet she was conflicted what to think of her current situation. It had taken her a lot of time to get used to the fact that she wasn’t one of the Kokuyo anymore. Though, sometimes it seemed to her that her past was trying to take her back to those days in which she was depressed.

Slowly raising her head, she mustered the rather tall grown boy, scratching the back of her Head.

“Ah… You can go ahead and choose!” a slight nod followed after her words, her hands in front of her lap.

"Ah. It was a joke. A joke."

Fran reassured her, his emotionless eyes judging her. It has been ten years, and she is still as awkward as ever. He sighed, not really bothered about it. Chrome was one of the few sane people he knew throughout his life. She was also one of the few people who haven't tried to kill him, so that's a plus for her.

"Ah. Chrome, then. Makes things less difficult." He looked at her, as formal as always. "How's it been? You know, not being a part of Master anymore." Fran asked bluntly, taking a seat on a nearby bench. The heat was finally getting to him, probably not the best idea to wear black leather on days like these.

Noticing that rather suspicious person, he seemed very familiar. As she bit her sandwich, she had slightly tilted her head, a furrow forming between her thin yet visible eyebrows.

With her 23 years at age, she had already seen the weirdest of Mafiosi. But now that she looked carefully at the crest that was sewed on his leather clothes, it most likely appeared that he was one of the Varia. Gulping her food down fastly she got up in a hurry.

“T-then you must be Flan!” she pointed out surprised, a hand in front of her mouth. “We haven’t seen each other for such a long time, after you had joined the Kokuyo…”

A slight smile had formed on her lips as she slightly had tilted her head with closed eyes. He sure had grown, but she did not see a reason to point that out and only smiled at him. Wondering why he was here, she only kept quiet.

"Ah, don't stare at me so much. You'll embarrass meee."

He joked in his monotone voice; of course it was but only a joke. Fran just assumed that such a comment might have broken the awkward silence between the two. Though the girl was much older than he was, but Fran had to look down at her.

"Yes." He replied, his right hand raised, signalling that he, Fran, was present. "That is true..... What might I call you?" Fran furrowed his brows, a bead of sweat forming as he realized, he had no idea as to how to address her. Senpai? Chrome-nee? Ah...

Fran realized that even though ten years had past, she was still a bit timid. At least she is a bit more.. Sociable? The smile on her face signaled that she seems to have grown mature. It looked as though she wanted to say something to him, but chose not to. Oh well.

Hearing such words from Fran, Giotto realised that he was more interested than a normal person should be. He was enthusiastic about death and the world that they enter? It was a little strange to him, but he would never judge him for liking something that Giotto found weird. He listened to the question and blinked a little. Of course, despite being trapped in another world, Giotto was still able to come here. He answered his question with an explanation as to what he saw every day.

“Because my flames are within the Vongola Ring, the world that I am currently living in is nothing but darkness. It is pitch black without any sign of life at all. I am unsure if ‘Underworld’ is the right place, but I am not on earth anymore.”

Hearing more strange words from the other got Giotto thinking for a small moment. The fact that he was getting stabbed in the back all of the time was getting him to think about his welfare. How was he even alive from having knives thrown into his back on a daily basis? This boy failed to bore Giotto, especially when he said things like this. It was somewhat surprising.

“If I were to throw knives within your back, I would have done it by now, but you can rest assured as I would never do such a thing to an ally.”

Watching the boy for a moment with his change in reactions got Giotto wondering what he was thinking, and what he was planning for that matter. Of course, his Hyper Intuition was telling him that he wasn’t doing anything to harm Giotto, but he was still unaware of what he was thinking. He had only met Fran today and he had trusted him to direct Giotto to Decimo. His Guardians would be scolding him right now if they were alive. Scolding him for being too trusting to strangers.

“I am grateful for your actions. Thank you.”

Fran noticed as Primo watched him with a kind of curiosity. He couldn't blame him; he is just that amazing, cool, and mysterious~ Fran thought to himself. The frog chose not choose to not question the blonde's stares, letting his ego get the best of him.

"The underworld.. Huh. If you're okay, it seems like it's not bad of a place? Putting your flames into a ring.. So, you didn't die?"

"Hmn? 'Stabbed in the back'? Ah. Don't mind that, it was a joke. A joke. I'm sure only my idiotic senpai and Master would do such things."

After a bit, he realized the blonde watching him even more carefully. Apparently something was bothering him? Fran didn't bother to ask, for Primo didn't seem like it was a big problem.

"Ah. You don't need to thank me.. Hmn? Do you hear that?"

Fran asked, hearing a struggle. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed a young girl being mugged by a shady looking person. He looked to Primo, interested to his reaction to such a scene.

Another dull and tiring day for the young teen. Nothing seemed to interest him as much anymore. Lately Fran had been sneaking out of the Varia HQ to escape knives, screaming, and other loud objects. When there is no work, the Varia is just another group of annoying people, he thought. Fran somehow found himself in Namimori in a sudden pink flash, but it didn't really matter to him. He had no chosen destination in the first place, and he didn't really take into consideration as to what that pink smoke was. As he walked out of the bushes and brushed off some leaves, he noticed he was catching some attention. He realized it was from his frog hat, but he didn't care. Fran tuck his hands into his pant pockets and continued to walk along the sidewalk, not really sure as to where it would lead to. It was a warm day for Namimori, which made it made it difficult for Fran, who happened to be in his leather Varia uniform. It didn't take long until the teen decided he would take a break. Fran happened to be near a park, and decided to rest there. He plodded over to a bench and sat down, his eyebrows furrowing from the heat. He sat alone for a bit until he noticed a familiar girl with an eye-patch. He could notice that infamous pineapple hairstyle anywhere, and if the culprit weren't in a skirt it could have been his notorious master. It seemed as though the girl had noticed him as well and was wary as to confront him or not. Fran took the initiative and strolled over to the girl first, realizing he must've been sent into the past. "Ah, you're master's girl, right?"

Mukuro observed the small smirk on his apprentices face, something that was rarely there since the child usually didn’t show a wide range of emotions, at least not when he was alone with Mukuro. Though, the illusionist supposed, his gang wasn’t exactly child-friendly.

Well, as long as Fran didn’t become even weirder he didn’t care. The child had potential, great one at that, for his Mist flames were strong and pure, a sign that he would be a strong illusionist one day. Not as strong as Mukuro, of course.

“Kufufu~ They are a lively bunch, indeed. Therefore, it is entirely up to you where you wish to live, as long as you come to me for  training that is.” Mukuro slides his finger along the handrest his chair, mismatched eyes looking at his apprentice and then he continues, a small smile playing on his lips, “Chrome should be back soon. She just had a small job to do.”

Fran noticed his master staring at him intently. Was there something on his face? Did he have a booger hanging? Well, Fran didn't really care as to why he might observe him, but he did feel like his master's glare was a mixture of... creepy and disgusting.

"Training..?" He repeated after his pineapple-styled master. "Eh... It doesn't really matter to me where I live really, mainly who is there. I'll be sure to keep your words in mind, master." Fran's expressionless face glared back at the male who continued to look at him. "Ah, she doesn't seem to come by as often. Master, did you scare her?"

Giotto’s head nodded as he listened to the male speaking towards him, letting him know that he would listen to anything that is said to him, no matter how pointless or boring it was. Giotto lived for the people, and even though he was dead, his spirit fiercely burned on. He wasn’t going to fall into his eternal sleep anytime soon, and that was for his Guardians as well. The blonde chuckled as he heard the sentence coming to an end, replying to them straight away.

“Well, I am more than happy to listen to your stories, even if you find them improper to tell me. I am not royalty or anything. I am a normal person just like you, and I have been in both on your world and the world that I am trapped in, which is called the Underworld if I am aware?”

Giotto then chuckled as he heard such words escape the blue-haired male’s lips about him being a ‘buff fighter’. Well he was a confident one that’s for sure, and Giotto never doubted his abilities one bit. He never was one to judge someone like that and would never call anyone weak unless they were fighting against him and he had won. Giotto believed that everyone had hidden strength somewhere within them, and it would come out whenever it was ready.

“I am grateful for your assistance. I am sure that you’re ‘buff’ abilities will cease to disappoint.”

Giotto then nodded once more, at the words of the other speaking about protecting him. Wow he was lucky to have found such a person. He was a kind male helping him in such a way and he wasn’t hesitant about it either. Giotto was glad that someone like him was an ally to the Vongola, and he wouldn’t be changing his mind anytime soon.

“I shall help whenever I can, because my flames are strong, I don’t have to use so much. just can’t use too much.”

At the very moment that the world 'underworld' left Primo's mouth, the boy instantly beamed in interest in his own way. Of course, being Fran, it didn't really show much on his expression. More on his eyes, and the sudden raise of his eyebrows. 

"Ehh.. You're trapped in the 'Underworld'? How is it? Is it similar to how it is described in old storybooks? Full of wandering souls.. Darkness.. Full of fire.."

The teen's eyes sparkled at the thought, but soon gathered his emotionless composure once again. Fran smirked at the sight of the blonde chuckling at his 'joke'. The image of himself with bulging muscles crossed his mind for a minute. ...That would be awesome. He thought.

"Hmn? Ah, yes. You can count on me. ...As long as you don't throw me glares or shoot knives into my back."

A drop of sweat rolled down the side of his cheek as he remembered certain missions with a few of the Varia members. The thought of the annoying captain yelling at him.. Bel-senpai using his back as target practice.. The glares he got from the lightning pervert when he was near the Boss.. Ah, he shook his head along with the memories. He suddenly felt tired.

"No need to worry. You don't need to think about using your flames, I've got it covered."

He blinked as they turned around a corner.

The male simply glares at his apprentice, too tired to return the childish play of words back to the kid and not wanting to take part in anymore foolishness. While it could be quite fun to play around like this, today Mukuro didn’t feel like doing things like that for long.

Perhaps it was just too bright for that, or maybe it was the mood that had fallen over the two illusionist. Whatever the reason, Mukuro no longer felt amused by being though of as a vampire.

“Did you not hear a word I said? Really…” he sighs, leaning slightly to the front and on the right side, placing his weight on the arm rest, “If you want more comfort then you are welcomed to go and ask Tsunayoshi-kun for a room. He is someone who can’t exactly say no.” Mukuro chuckles and then adds, “I prefer this place to be like it is, therefore I fail to see the need to use illusions.”

A small smirk crossed his face, as the boy noticed a sudden tired look cross his master's face. Has he managed to annoy him enough? The desire to sit on his master's recliner had already vanished, but it wasn't like he had anything else to do. 

The thought of asking his master if he sparkled crossed his mind, but he decided that he didn't want to die today. Fran leaned the side of his head to right, slightly bumping into the paint-chipped wall. He began pick at the paint, and eventually began peeling it.

"Hmn. Vongola Decimo? Just looking at his family makes me... Tired." He narrowed his eyes at the thought of those 'energetic' people. "'No need for illusions', eh? I guess you're right." Fran gave up arguing with him, he actually felt the need to sleep again. "...I wonder if the female version of master will be coming by soon.." He closed his eyes and continued to rub them to prevent himself from falling asleep.

Mukuro looks at his apprenticed antics and then smirks a knowing smirk. So Fran did indeed pick up one of Chikusa’s romance novels, how amusing. Well, he couldn’t blame the child for giving up so soon and tossing the book far away - he sometimes had to wander why was Chikusa even reading those things.

“My dear, stupid apprentice, there is nothing wrong in admitting and being proud of being an S. It just proves to show others that you are someone standing above them, to borrow the thought from a certain stuck up skylark.” the illusionist chuckles and then adds, “And no, I do not drink blood.” there is something vaguely resembling amusement in his voice.

Mismatched eyes watch the dust floating in the air, dancing in the sunlight that shines though the broken windows. It truly was peacefully quiet now. Mukuro makes an annoyed sigh, but answers the child anyway, “Because I chose this place, that’s all you should know.” he then makes a small pause and continues, “It’s safer when you know that the place you live in is already damaged as it is, so it won’t be hard to lose it.”

Fran noticed a stupid smile on his master's face. So he knew what he was about to read and didn't stop him? That's so like his master. 

"Hmmm.. Standing above them? For being an S? ...That's a new one.." The boy mumbled and looked away. He began to whistle just because he grew bored. "Eh? Master, you don't drink blood? That's a bit... Surprising." He said in a sarcastic tone.

"So it won't be hard to lose? Hm, if master is such an amazing illusionist, why doesn't he just fix up this place then? So we don't have to see such a rundown building..." Fran yawned, he didn't really care about their hideout, he mainly just wanted better.. living standards.
