Heyo! I saw your drawing of a science guy, what's his name? Does he have a backstory? Looks like the type to have a terrible sleep schedule and unique speaking pattern
This bun's name is Sado Roux, he is the main antagonist of my comic that I plan to release during 2026.
Height – 6'2" (depends on mood, lol) / whatever fits (Roux vibes)
Ability: Plastic Man (he’s super flexible, can morph into any shape or object, but without picking up their powers. Not like a stretchy superhero though — if he extends his arm, something else like his leg or hair might shrink. Doesn’t feel temperature changes, either. Totally immune to heat or cold, and all that good stuff.)
Dr. Sado was a polymer scientist with a mind as tangled as his name. Born and raised in Triangelsk, his childhood drifted by like a ghost—no real family ties. He didn’t live with his mom or dad. His dad was a drunk who couldn’t hold down a job, and his mom was desperately trying to remarry, chasing that elusive "love" like it was some kind of prize. Meanwhile, Sado stayed with his great-grandma—her love was the only thing that kept him tethered to something real.As a kid, he dreamed of being an actor—something that kinda worked out, not too shabby. But while his humanities side was floundering in the shallow end, his tech brain blazed like a phoenix—no magic in him, just the simple joy of stirring tea without a spoon.
At 14, everything shattered—the anchor of his peace, Grandma Tytan (his grandpa’s nickname), passed away just like his dad. Left alone except for Grandpa Tytan (a titan of quiet despair), who hated Sado’s constant smile hiding his anxiety. Tytan’s only solace was the apartment share inherited from Roux after the old man’s death—Roux hated himself and everyone around him, seeing them all as nothing more than animals, just like himself.
By 17, Sado ditched dreams of acting and dove into what he had talent for: becoming a polymer scientist—his ticket to that sweet taste of stability he craved. After studying hard, he became pretty good at it—money wasn’t flowing but it wasn’t dry either; enough to buy chocolate or other little luxuries without breaking the rent budget.
Fast forward to 27: working at Cupid’s Tears Lab (by Conor Industries), Sado got caught in an experimental vat—some freak accident involving Conor’s tears—and melted down to nothing but a skeleton. But thanks to those tears (check his file), he survived—his body turned into liquid plastic, flexible and soft now, with only bones left as anchors. This broke him deep inside—split personality style.
Now Sado is torn between two selves:
Sado: The gentle soul who just wants to live peacefully and not hurt anyone.
Roux: The actor hiding behind jokes and irony, trying to fix Sado’s broken body by any means necessary—even if it means killing himself for Sado’s sake.
Roux is after the Angel Heart (trying to cut off Conor’s head) — because that’s their key to salvation or destruction.
Sado: Sad and skittish, jumps at loud sounds; introverted but could shine bright with friends (if he had any). Hates his new body—it feels nothing—and dreams of an island where he can be quiet and safe.
Roux: Joyful yet relentless; determined and almost fearless—a true extrovert deep down but mostly keeps things locked up inside. His main goal? Make Sado happy again.
