in high school I was in the child development class where we ran the preschool. Class ended and I moved onto the next class, an art class. Sit down next to my friend who was working on a serious piece and casually asked for my thoughts on it, looking for serious critique.

Preschool mode had not turned off so I looked at it, clapped my hands and said “WOW Really great work! Amazing!”, in that same kind of voice you’d say to a toddler who presented you with a random scribble on a piece of paper.

Friend loved the reaction at least lmao.

My first month back at work from maternity leave I was working in the back room and my boss came in for a snack. I asked him if his snack was "yum yum". He didn't miss a beat assuring me it definitely was.

Heartbreak High have done it again. Ca$h Piggott is the most beautiful asexual representation. I have never related to anything more. He is trying so hard, but he's staying true to who he is.

being ace and watching hbh… lord all of this hits too close to home. these two scenes BROKE ME so much but i’m so grateful they exist. heartbreak high has done a wonderful job in this season with cash’s asexuality (and they said the actual word!!! even if it was dusty who said it) so i couldn’t be happier. everything has felt so real and relatable. ALSO THE SCENE WITH NAN???

young me especially would have hated hearing this but networking is literally the most important thing you can do to improve your situation like forget economic barriers to education etc just keep making friends with different people and eventually someone will offer you a hand up just because they dig your vibe and that is exactly all that's happening when undeserving people surpass you anyway
