[me to me] shut up i’m thinking
I goals, resolutions & aspirations of 2020 - how’s it going? I
academic:
apply for internships abroad (I even heard back from 1 for next spring/fall!!)
hand in term papers on time (working on it, chakka!)
+ finish that ba degree, damn it!!
+ pass german sign language with a good grade
+ start my master’s degree
personal:
be on time (definitely getting better at this!)
goodreads says 21/50 books (and it’s right!!)
go to the museum more often (that has not happened yet, bc of covid-19..)
run a 5k (I can can currently run 3.8km. won’t join an actual 5k run though, bc of covid-19)
learn one big thing (learning sign language this term!)
start therapy (I’m researching possible therapists)
+ speak up more often irl when injustice happens or racist/sexist/homo-/transphobic/problematic comments are made
enjoy every bit of sun laughter & happiness (hell yess!!)
overall I’d say I’m doing quite okay? checking in mid-way of the year really helps to reset my focus and I had to add some points
how are you doing so far? what are you proud of?

11 June 2020 | These pictures are from a few days ago when I was still finishing up my patristics paper. Now, I’m entirely finished for the semester and looking forward to finally having time to do some reading with no practical application to research! I’ll likely go back to that paper soon to make a few changes and maybe submit it for publication, but for now I’m just enjoying not having any more deadlines hanging over my head.
30.06.2020 || my boyfriend always gifts me with books written by women and I think it’s the loveliest gesture ever. trying to keep my productivity on track whilst repeating to myself that is okay to give my mind a rest too.
