I just had a thought... In the Lunar Chronicles, If the Lunar menagerie is prized for its assortment of "exotic albino animals" than was Princess Winter only allowed to keep Scarlet as a pet in the menagerie because she has pale skin and orange hair and is, therefore, considered to be albino to the people of Luna? I mean, I had always thought that it was just because she was Earthern, but than why would she be allowed to be kept in the menagerie alongside the palace's prized collection of purely albino animals if she herself wasn't considered albino herself?
