I’m done with family drama.

If only you could look at me as a daughter rather than a responsibility. If only you could love me the way mom loved me. I want us to be ok but I realized a month ago that we will never have that father and daughter relationship. It’s depressing. It makes me so depress and you go out your way and not care. Mom wouldn’t want this at all. Why can’t you just be there for me? Why can’t you just be my dad.

My dad doesn't love my mom. How do I know? Well they were married for 23 years till my mom passed away. He remarried two years later. What does that say to me? That he didn't really love her and that disappoints me. How could you come home one day and tell me that I have a new mom just like that? Is he aware how disrespectful that is? If he's not happy with his life then he can go to Philippines. I'm not happy being here in the same house with him as well. He gave up on my mom. He gave up on me. If he wants to start his new life with his new family then let him be.Somehow... I’ll manage on my own.

I remember teaching my dad how to type when I was in elementary school. Took him ten minutes to type a whole sentence. Now I feel guilty that I don’t even teach him about new technology. He handles iphone pretty well but with other technology .. not really. Lol.

I do care about Arab’s lives. I care about anyone that has been affected by these tragedies. I believe in hope. We are one.
