Affirmation of the day.
If you are stuck between the break down and the breakthrough, just breathe, re-find the faith in yourself and keep going. You have come too far. You deserve the blessings that are waiting for you.
“I promise to continue learning and educating myself. I promise to listen more, I promise to open myself up to more criticism so I can allow myself to grow.”

A ton of resources. Actions to take, places to donate too, articles to read.
Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old ER technician and former EMT, was lying in her own bed when police broke in and shot her eight times without so much as announcing their presence. Say her name. Do the work. Text. Call. Sign. Donate.

It took me less than 2 minutes for me to sign 20 petitions. I have linked the petitions in my account. I have linked donations my account. I have linked where you can educate yourselves. I have linked Google docs.
Please do something. Don't do nothing. Speak up. To all y'all white people, use your privilege. Use it to shield our black brothers and sisters from those shitty cops.
But please do something. There's always something you can do.
Say their names.
I just love his work. He has been one of my favorite artists/ illustrators for awhile now. ❤️👏🏾

“I will give myself goals. I will accomplish them. I will regain trust in myself. Rebuilding my confidence.”
— Affirmation of the day.
“God is with me, no evil wished upon me can harm or hurt me. God is in my corner. I have faith, I trust, I believe. God is here for me. God will protect, God is with me every step. God heals, God forgives, God loves.”
— Affirmation of the day.
With all of this time we have to ourselves it’s easy to get caught up and stuck in our heads. Thinking about the past, painful memories and burdens that leave us feeling drained.
Breathe. Let yourself feel what you need too but try to come back to the present moment. Breathe some more. Breathe a lot. (breathing is kind of good for you) You have this moment and many more moments ahead of you. Your future is yours. Create with it what you wish.
Sending you love, stay safe and healthy!
Peace!
