Hey 👋 This blog is all about my clangen cats n their clan Frostclan!

Asks always open ✨ I try to post as often as I can, but my aim is minimum one comic page (1 moon) every week.

(I'm struggling with both my mental health and physical health in a big way at the moment, so thanks for being patient when I can't post comics super regularly. It means a lot to me you sticking around! x)

At moon 0 we begin with just three, a young warrior named Morningbreeze, and the two tiny kits she was able to rescue…

Panel One:

Morningstar is seen from above walking across the snow.

Hey welcome back!! How are you doing?

Thank you! ✨ it’s really good to be back! I’m actually doing pretty okay! Much better than I was doing anyway :)

I’ve been getting a lot of support these last few months,, With kind of, managing my health and getting on the right medications.

I think at this point I’ve just been finding the right balance of what my limits are / what I can manage.

But yes it’s going well, I’ve got my seizures under control, managing triggers, looking after myself etc.

And hopefully now that I’m in a better place I can draw more going forward, n work on my comics more too! Yippee! ✨

Aug 2025 Update

I probably should explain where I’ve been for the last checks watch year??

You might remember in my pinned post around the time my posts were slowing down that I mentioned I might post less due to my health.

In 2023 I began to have episodes of dizziness and weakness, which then progressed to what seemed to be neurological issues, a tremor, speech problems etc. This had all already begun when I started making this comic, but what I wasn’t expecting was for it to get as worse as quickly as it did.

Finally around the time I stopped posting, I’d just started to have seizures.

Over the past two years, things have gotten really hard, and my functioning has taken a nose dive. I got diagnosed with a neurological disorder. It it turns out it isn’t something you can just fix with medicine. It’s something I’m just going to have to live with.

It’s been hard losing the ability to do the things I used to do, having to give up my job and life I had before. and some days I get really messed up about it I’m not gonna lie. But over time I’ve learned how to manage my limits, and I think I’ve adjusted pretty well.

So I’m gonna try to start posting again. No promises! But I’ll try! I’d really like to carry on telling Morningstar’s story. Also my laptop went caput so I’m gonna have to figure out her story myself I think. Like a regular webcomic- Since I lost access to my clangen save anyway. Hopefully no one minds!

So yeah, I don’t know if anyone will actually read this after all this time, but if you do, then thanks :)

Moon 2.1 - She had had the same nightmare nearly every night for the last half moon. Though every time upon waking only the vaguest memory of freezing blue and cold would linger at the back of her mind, before that too was swept away. Yet for hours after waking, a sense of wordless terror remained, that never seemed to leave her nowadays.

How did this even happened??

Trigger warning: implied animal death

Frostclan are a clan who have managed to survive living in a freezing wasteland like the mountains because they’ve always made their nests mostly underground. This is where deep below the surface natural hot springs surge and warm the rock.

But this winter had been one with more snowfall than ever before. No one foresaw the avalanche, or even imagined it would happen, not to them.

Unfortunately, not everyone got out before the cavern was buried. Of those that did, only one managed to run fast and far enough to escape the wall of snow…

General Update: In future comic parts I’m planning for there to be more information around how it played out, in the form of flashbacks etc. Thanks for being patient with me! My health has been deteriorating recently so I’ve been struggling to get artwork done, but I’m halfway done with the next moon and hopefully can get that out soon :)

Moon 1.3 - The chorus of voices seem to vibrate in the air, and echo in her ears even as she wakes. Frostclan welcomes a new leader, Morningstar.

I wanted to ask how old Morningbreeze is? Lovely coat btw!! ur art is very nice

Morningbreeze is 30 moons old as of year 0 (around 2.5 years) so pretty much in her warrior prime! (but probably a little young to have the fate of the whole clan on her shoulders lets be honest!)
