“You’re running a fever,” said Jason, resting the back of one hand on your forehead. His skin was always cool to the touch- he blamed it on the Lazarus Pit- but this morning it was almost painfully cold. You groaned and flipped your pillow to the cool side.
“I feel like hell,” you told him groggily, and he laughed.Â
“No surprise.” He pressed a quick kiss to the back of your hand. “You want me to put on a movie? Maybe cook breakfast?”
“Don’t...want to move,” you muttered, trying to sit up and collapsing back onto the bed as your head spun. Jason laughed quietly, and suddenly you felt yourself- and all your blankets- being lifted into the air. You yelped and blinked up at him as he carried you into the living room and set you on the couch.
“There you go, Y/N. Movie suggestions?
You shrugged, bundling yourself deeper into the blankets and closing your eyes with a small sniffle. Jason threw a box of tissues into your lap, and you jumped. “Don’t- do that,” you managed to say.
“Sorry. How about Lord of the Rings?”
“What, the entire trilogy?”
“You’re not moving off that couch today anyway,” said Jason with a shrug and a slanted grin. You laughed weakly, and as the movie started he slipped onto the couch next to you. Tilting your head up against his shoulder, you breathed in the faint smell of leather and salt that always hung around him.
“Didn’t you say you were making breakfast?” you asked after a few minutes.
“I haven’t forgotten,” Jason reassured you, gently squeezing your arm and resting his head on top of yours. “You just relax. Watch the movie. Maybe sleep. We’ll have you fixed up by Monday for sure.”

hi hope this is ok. if I could have a male DC and Marvel match. I'm 5'5" gay asexual man, have sort of a mohawk/undercut hair style, kind of chubby, and chronically ill. I have a punk/motorcycle aesthetic but generally wear sweatpants and baggy shirts. become a literal sap for giant dogs, they're all good puppies no matter what, and sarcasm is my default. has way too many odd random facts and love to share them, basically just weird. pls and thank you is possible!
For your DC match I would ship you with Kaldur’ahm! He would be really interested in hearing all your facts and listening you you talk about your interests. You could go to aquariums and he could tell you things about all the different types of fish, and then go get food afterwards! (He likes popcorn and crunchy snacks, probably- that kind of food doesn’t hold texture well in an aquatic environment.)
For Marvel, I’d ship you with Steve Rogers! He’d be a great boyfriend and he knows what it’s like to be chronically ill. He would probably plan out cute little dates when he’s not off doing Avengers stuff, like just walking around the city and checking out different ice cream stores and museums and stuff.

“Hey, Y/N,” said Dick as you opened the door. He shot you a smile that looked just a little nervous, and then swept a goofy bow. “Ready to head out?”Â
You smiled back, a laugh welling up in your throat. “We should hurry, I don’t want to miss any of the trailers.” You grabbed your purse and slung it over one shoulder, sweeping past Dick and glancing back at him over your shoulder. He looked almost dumbstruck, and blinked when you flashed him a grin.
“I’ll pay for popcorn,” said Dick as the two of you waited in the line at the movie theater. The air smelled heavily of salt and butter, and people were beginning to filter out of some movie and fill up the lobby.Â
“I’ll pay for the snacks,” you told him. “I probably eat more than you’d expect, and you bought the tickets.”Â
“Well, I was thinking I’d buy infinite refills anyway,” said Dick with a slanted smile. “Maybe some candy. You have any kind of pop you’d like?”Â
“I’d like root beer,” you started, and then realized that Dick was already moving towards the refreshments counter with money in hand. “Hey, I said I’d pay,” you called after him, hurrying to keep up.Â
“I’ll have the refill deal with root beer, and two things of Junior Mints and two of- did you have a preference?” He turned to you with a big innocent smile, and you sighed and told him your favorite candy.
Inside the theater, you carefully balanced the pile of candy in the cupholder between the two of you. “Next time, I’m paying,” you said in a whisper.
“Mm-hm. Trailers are starting up,” Dick said, offering you the enormous bucket of buttery popcorn. Within the first fifteen minutes of the movie, the two of you had eaten almost half the popcorn and three of the four boxes of candy.Â
You kept glancing at Dick to make sure he wasn’t upset you were eating so much- your ex had taken every opportunity to complain about it. He seemed happy, watching the movie and occasionally reaching out to grab popcorn or Junior Mints.
After not too much longer, you felt Dick drape his arm over your shoulders, and you relaxed and tilted your head onto his chest. “Liking the movie?” he asked quietly, and you nodded.
“Also, I think we’re out of popcorn,” you added in an undertone, popping the last few fluffy kernels into your mouth.

Male ship, I’ll go with Tim Drake! Tim would be impressed that you know bits of so many different languages, and help you learn more if you wanted to. And your curious personality would go great with his- even if you didn’t do field work, he’d probably come to you to talk to and bounce ideas off of when he was working through a tricky case.
And female ship, Donna Troy! Donna would absolutely think you were beautiful, and she’d always be setting up dates for the two of you, sometimes little dates like getting bubble tea and sometimes big adventures to different museums and parks that take the whole day. Marvel and DC male Ship pretty please? I'm 5'2 female and a liberal studies major (I want to teach elementary school). I am super protective of anyone who is close to me (I'm always ready to fight anyone who hurts the people I've been told I'm nice and kind. I'm an ENFJ. I love to read, watch tv, and listen to an eclectic mix of music. Chocolate is my life and though I can be shy at first I am super outgoing. Comic books, Star Wars/Trek, and black and white movies have always cheer me up.
For your DC ship I’d ship you with Barry Allen! Especially pre-New 52 he’s a huge nerd and I bet he’d love watching movies with you, and chatting about comics! The only downside I can think of is that he’s always late. He’ll make up for it by being extra sweet, and if you run out of eggs or something it takes him about a minute to go to the grocery store and get more.
And for your Marvel ship, maybe Scott Summers? He’s usually pretty quiet, but equally ready to Fight. His glasses dye everything sort of red, but black and white movies are pretty monochromatic by definition, so he likes watching them. (And maybe setting up blanket forts?) And he tries to be encouraging of your studies and help quiz you for exams, even though he gets bored of it sometimes.

She would be really interested in your trivia facts and might know some new ones (and the two of you might accidentally end up several dozen pages deep into Wikipedia while looking up new facts.)
