Marcy was Immediately concerned upon getting a message from her father

Neither of her parents tried to follow her and I mean honestly her father didn't sound too understanding about her feelings here either :/

"I cannot live in this world anymore" is a terrifyingly extreme response to stressful situations, even for a kid. "You know what, that Magic Artifact from a book I skimmed that I called goofy earlier is probably totally real!" is terrifyingly desperate thinking, even for a kid in a stressful situation.

"I'm going to leave and literally never come back" Isn't a normal response, even from a child. Especially given she literally Followed Through. This was not a situation where a kid ran off and then wandered back in a little while later cause they missed home. Like. She was Serious and even half a year or so later she had No interest in going back Ever. (plus look how vulnerable she was to being used and manipulated by the first adult who talked a little nice to her???)

Overall I Don't Trust This Girls Parents. At All.
