Brought colors to our lives | My Tribute to @strongyu 

I decided to reupload my old post back from early 2015. I remembered making this specific graphic inspired by the works of Gyu, but I don’t know what makes it looks that way. Maybe the way she use colors in her edits, or the way she empowered us to contribute something to the fandom.

We maybe joined the shipping through different meaning, and different ways. Strongyu’s connection to each one of us is unique.

One thing for sure, she impact us deeply in our heart. Through her works and arts, driven by her passion of the fandom, whether it’s Jelsa or Reylo, draws us closer and connected with each other. Which made Gyu’s legacy, even more colorful.

We never met, we only met through our screen, virtually. But through the same interest and same feelings, she touches us.

This next one I will mostly talk about my friendship with Gyu.

I just saw somewhere on Instagram about the passing of @strongyu and I’m honestly still in such shock. I never knew her personally, but I have been following her for years.

Her edits and art always inspired me to make my own. It may seem like such a small thing to others, but it always brought me such joy.

I remember being so overjoyed and excited when she mentioned me in one of her posts; she had made a series of Cinderella jelsa edits and had tagged me because I had earlier made some of my own (they were terrible, especially in comparison to her stunning ones, haha. I was just elated to have been noticed by her). I was always too shy to try and make conversation with her, although I do regret not getting the chance to really speak with her. It is unfathomable to me that someone I looked up to in this fandom is gone so early.

I may not have known her personally, but I still wanted to say something in her rememberance. Thank you, Strongyu, for your passion and creativity.

Thank you for all the joy you brought to me and countless others in this fandom. <3
