She wasnโt much for the market most days interacting with typical Demacain citizens was very strange to her, and she did not normally hold much interest in it at all. The Half-Dragoness preferred to keep to herself and did so quite on purpose, after all she was surrounded by glass people that could break easily in her presence, like the small porcelain figure she was currently eyeing disinterestedly. But today her wandering flight through the evening sky had taken her to a border town on the Demacian outskirts, and she felt just bored and curious enough to give the noisy town square full of vendors a try. Of course most people gawked or hurried away from her, aside from the vendors of course who pitched pretty much every individual piece of gear to her. Eventually though, a little stand of leathers caught her eye and she wandered over.
Shyvana understood the purpose of leather about as well as she did metal. And that was partially. The concept of armor was easy enough, humans lacked scales after all and needed to protect themselves. But why tanned hides and not metal like sheโd been given? She did not ponder this for very long though, for she caught sight of the woman selling the leathers int he first place. Pupils drew to the ears first and foremost with a new swell of curious abandon.
โOh. Youโre a Vastayan.โ
She hated going to Demacia. She felt weird here, and not just because of all the weird looks she got for being a Vastayan. But, the sales were good here, and she did not have to come here often so Kal sucked it up.ย
Most did not make eye contact with her as they looked at her wares, either due to her clear Vastayan nature, or the permanent glare etched onto her face. This was fine by her, some of them were so off-put they never asked for change.ย
So she sat at her post, arms folded and chair propped back as she eyed the passerby's. Nothing really caught her attention until a scaled woman came up to her stand. Her ears pricked up as she looked over the other, she was unlike any other Vastayan she had seen.
At her comment she cocked an eyebrow. โ Yeah. Clearly. Same as you... I think.โ
