The Future of this Blog
Hello!
It's no secret I've basically been dead to this platform for the last 2.5 years, lurking only to see who's still here and telling myself 'oh yeah I'll get back to that.' But it's been 2.5 years, how much longer will this cycle continue? I hate feeling pressured, but I also hate breaking promises and letting others down.
The reality is I want to do so much, both online and off, but I simply do not have the time or energy to do it all to the amount I would like to. My professional career is expanding sooner than I expected. I'm now working two jobs and learning the ins & outs of owning my own business. I'm trying to get back into my creative hobbies at regular intervals for self-care. It's overwhelming, but it won't be forever.
I don't want to abandon this blog. I've put a lot of work into it, and I've made some very meaningful connections. I would be legitimately sad if I just left it to rot. I'm thinking I need to rework everything if I want to be on this platform regularly. What this looks like so far...
Fewer muses overall so I can keep the quality where I would like it to be. I'll have a few in regular rotation, but some will be by request only.
Be less strict with content. Allow myself to post what I want instead of it being purely RP related. Art, memes, etc.
Commit to less RP's. I still love it, I do. But on average between writing, correcting, and formatting, my posts take 30 minutes to a full hour to compose. I'm slow, and I hate it. For now this is the best compromise I can come up with.
If this isn't going to work for you, I completely understand. I want to truly thank you for staying with me for as long as you have. Otherwise, I hope to be more active on here in the coming months. Starting small, seeing what I can manage. Cleaning it up is the first thing I feel I should do.

She crouched down, meeting the small one at eye level. Her body was warm, the scent of white tea and cotton rose able to reach the others nose with her closeness...
"But that doesn't account for you being here alone before my arrival precious one.." Carefully, the female reached her hands out to gently touch the painted child's cheeks. Checking them for warmth, fullness, and texture to see if this child was being fed or at the very least cared for.
