As soon as I found this diamond I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. This. I’ve long wanted to make a ring in this design– sort of an abstract cobra posture– but a pear shaped diamond wasn’t quite appropriate. This diamond was probably cut in the early 20th century and mimics a typical pear shape, but it’s completely step cut, leaving a flat bottom to terminate against a “neck” of diamonds. 

We’re closed for vacation until April 19th.
