Turning The Key - Pandora Event [ Ponyo + Vanille + Karkat ]
Out on a plain field. Well, the field wasnât plain, it was gorgeous but since she had gotten used to it that it had become plain to her. All of this time she been trying to find a way out of Pandora, a way back to Fang, but she couldnât find it. She was beginning to lose all of her hopes. Not even Lightning could find a way out, so why would she be any different?
Sighing softly to herself, Vanille let her back flopped down on the soft ground beneath her. The sky of Pandora was actually quite beautiful. She hadnât encountered any rainy day. It had always been sunny. It almost made her miss the rainy days. Almost.
âItâs so nice out here ~â
She thought as she bathed on the nice air of the nature. However, that bliss didnât last long. There was a sudden shake and she could literally feel the ground shaking. It wasnât that hard of an impact, but she felt it. Pulling herself up as she looked around the field in a panic. There was something going on here, but she couldnât figure out what. The shake stopped and she jumped on her feet. She got a feeling that something bad was going to happen, and usually her instincts were mostly correct.
Vanille let out a surprise gasp as she gazed upon the many shadows that were forming in the sky, each of them dropping down on the field in a haste. Combat instinct kicking in and Vanille drew out her rod as she clutched at it in her hands. The shadows on the ground turned into some form of a monster. She couldnât see a face on any of them, but that wasnât why she was worried. She knew that she could handle these monsters on her own just fine, but what about those that she met with no ability to fight? Right now, she had her own battle to worry about.Â
Fortunately, the monsters seemed to be moving toward the city. Her eyes narrowed at them before she rushed over, her rod readying in her hands to fight them.
She exclaimed before casting out a thunder spell. When the spell collided with one of the monsters, successfully annihilated it, the rest of the monsters stopped their advances and turned to her. Vanille swallowed the small lump in her throat and unconsciously took a step backward. Well, she had planned to protect the city and the innocents. However, she wasnât planning to actually die in this place. Well, that may have been a little exaggeration there. But the point was still there, nonetheless.
âWell ~â Vanille said with a small nervous smile. âIt was nice meeting you all ~ Ciao ~!â
And with that, she turned on her heels and ran away. She could hear the monsters coming after her. Well, at least they werenât going after the citizens.
