The year is 2372, The USS Hornet is in space Dock finishing up its retrofit, upgrades and crew assignments.

Orders have been set for the Hornets first mission.  They are going to be heading toward Qo’nos to pick up and deliver the new Kilingon Ambassador D’gohr, his objective is to mediate the feuding houses of  the Klingon Empire on who will take over as its leader in the high council.

The Ship and crew will be heading out on their adventure soon.

What could go wrong on this mission?  It is just a simple transport mission in an effort to shake down the ship and make sure she is ready for action when she is needed.

This should be a quick mission, but in space as every crew member knows there are always mystical and wondrous things to cross as well as traverse between point A and Point B

Hornet will be lead by FSF Bastetovski as her newly appointed Captain and FSF Merlin, former Captain of the Hornet and now Executive officer by choice and retaining his rank as Captain.   His presence is only to assist and guide the new Captain as she engages in her new career as a Starship Captain.

USS Independence

USS Phoenix

With the destruction of the USS Phoenix many years prior, her surviving crew being dispersed and reassigned A relative peace had settled over the United Federation of Planets. With this peace came a boom in the population of member planets and the need for expansion.
