what's that flail knight hiding under that helmet
Jackenstien. Duh?
Fish, walk, fish, walk/friends forever, fish talk/weâre the one who get things done/fish walk is number 1!
so like does anyone have an answer to what happens when you have both the parosol and the courier i cant access the wiki right now for some reason
You obtain everything that is in the shop when you walk in for free, and if you want the stuff that replaces the things you get, you still have to buy those.
DOMINATE
âDominateâ and itâs colossus, rupture, and bloodletting.
why does only the regent scream when he dies. i get why the silent doesnât. the defect doesnât appear to have a mouth. the ironclad, ehh, i feel like he should yell, but maybe the possession stops him from reacting to pain like thatâŠ? but itâs weird that the necrobinder is silent when she dies. hmâŠ
How it is:
4x cricket chirps
1x AGAGAGAGAHHHAHAHHAAAAAA
How it should be:
1x âGUGH!â
1x quiet whimp (one (1) whimper)
1x AGAGAGAGAHHHAHAHHAAAAAA
1x unholy screams of rage
1x very loud electrical buzzing
Guys if Tenna loses the tumblr sexyman poll Iâm making Metal Sonic cis again Iâm so serious

@lilybug-02
I have a challenge for anyone to partake in! Iâm pretty sure this deck is almost guaranteed to win against the crab, but I bottom-decked my Mantle and Armor. I didnât take Golden Compass, but Iâm not sure that would have made a big difference. If anyone can beat this seed on A9 Clad, I will give themâŠ
Well, nothing, Iâm broke, but if it strikes your fancy and you can beat it, reblog with the result. Iâd like to know.
Lore-wise, I wonder what kind of internal conflict/sad backstory Mega Crit will give the Watcher when they add her to STS2 to make her a more compelling and fleshed out character? Like she seems very disciplined, in control of her emotions, and is a very wise person, butâŠwhat secretly haunts her? If we are strictly going based on the very little canon information we have about her (sheâs an ascetic monk who is not easily swayed emotionally even by âtragicâ or âviolentâ scenes and is ascending the Spire to try to find answers about her colleague who is heavily implied to have become the Time Eater during the events of STS1), she seems too âperfectâ right now.
All the other slayers have some sort of internal conflict driving them to climb the Spire. They also have some sort of flaw/imperfection about them that contributes to this inner conflict and makes them infinitely more interesting. Ironclad has his pact with Vakuu (made thanks to his own desire for strength and ambition), Silent has her sisters/her unending need to please them even to the detriment of herself (+ her Blight illness), Defect has its âbrokennessâ and wanting it and its friend Flaw to be fixed by the Architect, Regent has his personal desire to find some sort of glory/something giving him actual purpose/self-fulfillment he couldnât find on his perfect planet of Starris, and Necrobinder has her grief and trauma from the deaths of her parents, the friendly Giant, and the 12 contributing to her genocidal vengeance towards the Architect.
Pure pure speculation and headcanon territory but imagine if Watcher was an illegitimate child or perhaps a half-human hybrid (I havenât decided what her other non-human half would be in this hypothetical scenario, but feel free to suggest) that was abandoned at birth by her parents once it was found she was born totally blind. She never got to know her parents before she was orphaned (unlike Necrobinder, who at least got to spend her childhood with them). The order of ascetics then adopted baby Watcher and trained/raised her to be totally aware and in control of her emotions and how to harness them into the divine Stances. They also taught her how to âseeâ using her scepter. For all she knows, Watcher has had a mostly okay childhood. Her past, however, has always been deliberately hidden from her, and although she was raised as normally as possible by the monks, she always has had this feeling that sheâs out of place/doesnât belong. Not so much because of her blindness â sheâs aware she canât see like everyone else â but she senses thereâs something else different about her besides her disability that sets her apart from the rest of her order. She is very, very intelligent and knows so much about a wide range of topics, yet the one thing she doesnât know anything about is her parents or her backgroundâŠand no one within the order will ever reveal anything more about them to her no matter how much she asks. She knows sheâs loved and well taken care of by the other monks, but she has this underlying fear (that she tries very hard to suppress and manages to forget about most of the time) that maybe this other difference in her somehow is bad/makes her bad and thatâs why no one wants to tell her about her past.
Also imagine if her colleague-turned-Time Eater always saw her as a rival and was jealous because she was so good at the divine Stances/was one of the best monks among their order despite being blindâŠthey only hid their jealousy from her (and held back on the insults and other terrible things they wanted to say about her blindness) because such blatant disrespect and ableism was greatly frowned upon. Everyone else in the order highly respected her and felt a need to protect her especially due to her disability; the colleague only fully revealed their disdain for her once they became the Time Eater. I want to think that maybe Watcher does recognize the Time Eater once they finally meet in the Beyond, and that them saying they never liked her disrupts her emotional control for a moment because her fear that maybe there is someone who thinks she doesnât deserve to belong in the order has indeed come true. It doesnât help either that the Time Eater carefully tracks every move she makes and already has an idea of what sheâs going to do due to being a fellow monk, and is able to utilize this to their advantage to counter her mastery of Stance dancing.
Also, imagine Vakuu, Tezcatara, or the other Ancients alluding to Watcherâs true heritage as well when she returns to the Spire to ascend it againâŠimagine this eating away at Watcherâs consciousness, wanting to know who she really is and where she comes fromâŠwould she think that maybe the Architect, the being born from Imagination that brought so much life (and later chaos and destruction) to Preon, would have the answers sheâs seeking about herself?
âWhen they add *character that is canonically dead*â
i tried to be funny and it backfired miserably
itâs 2014 itâs time we moved on as a nation and stop reblogging this
every person who reblogs this in 2015 is gonna get their ass kicked by yours truly
Why Khimera King instead of Chimera King?
Like. I get why not Chimera Ching but
WHAT IS A CHIMERA?
(same reason it's Phrog parasite and not Frog parasite)
Or Paper Krane, Tigyr, or Wulf.
You know you have hella block when you no-diffed queen. Unused Lizard Tail say what?
Crazy how effective Stoking your deck and Thrashing it crazy style is.
Time to be the change I want to see in fandom by introducing my Regent headcanon: he can understand the Defect. It's not just beeps and boops to him, it's actual language. Naturally, this has led me to imagine quite the humorous scenario:
Defect: curious beeps (something something "What's your friend's name?" referring to Osty, presumably while the Necrobinder isn't looking its way)
...
Regent:
Regent: Ex-CUSE YOU, Lich! Are you deaf, perhaps? Unfamiliar with the phrase 'speak when spoken to'???
Necrobinder: And just who am I meant to be speaking to? It's not like I'd miss one of your questions, as obnoxious as you are.
Regent: I am NOTâ! Ahem... The construct has an inquiry for you!
Necrobinder: Be honest. Does it look like I speak construct?
Regent:
Regent: YOU DON'T???
This is followed by him taken ABACK that all intelligent life on Preon doesn't speak the same language (since I presume struggle-free Starris over here wouldn't have things such as language barriers lmao), which leads him to question if the Silent and Ironclad are unable to understand the Defect as well. This goes about as amusingly as it sounds (considering how little those two speak), ending with:
Necrobinder: Oh well. Guess you'll have to translate for the lot of us.
Regent: Who, me???
Regent: Absolutely NOT! Such a task is beneath royalty!
Defect: sad beeps
Regent: N...no need to frown, construct! They're merely missing out!
Necrobinder: (What on Preon does he mean by "frown"???)
Defect: more sad beeps
And then he takes it upon himself to translate anyway LMAO
also if anyone wants the evidence used to support this headcanon, it's under the cut (with pictures!)
but beware, the yapping is intense... Monologue level (the Regent card), even
The â1100 0011â dialogue shows up at the same time as the other charactersâ âAaaahhhhhâ dialogue. Like, sigh of content in a hot bath. Thatâs probably what it is.
If I haven't answered your question, just assume the answer is "you'll have to wait and see"
Also asks are closed FOREVER!
Fan B Gone works a charm!
i love defect
(original meme under cut)
That would be a power, science itâs every turn instead of this turn.
What would Ponder do? (My vote is increase the focus of that orb)
As with any ascender, The Dragon has a starter relic, starter cards, and Ancient Cards unique to herself.
Her starter deck includes 5 Strikes, 5 Defends, Wingbeat, and Fiery Spark.
Wingbeat: 2 Energy attack. Deal 4 damage to ALL enemies 3 (4) times.
Aside from just being solid damage/AoE, Wingbeat also provides a way to benefit from sources of Strength. Particularly relevant when she has many ways to gain stats but also many high-cost cards.
Fiery Spark: 0 Energy attack. Deal 3 (5) damage and gain 2 (3) Ember. At 5+ Ember, transforms into Fiery Breath (+).
Fiery Breath: 2 Energy attack. Deal 12 (15) damage to all enemies and gain 2 (3) Firepower. Transform this back into Fiery Spark.
Fiery Spark/Breath switches between low-damage chip and high-damage AoE.
Aside from tracking how charged your Breath attacks are, Ember also increases the damage of your Breath attacks by 1 per Ember, and is expended when you use a Breath. Firepower increases the Ember threshold required to use a Breath weapon, allowing you to use stronger ones as the battle progresses.
Her starter relic, Dragonstone, provides 4 Ember at the start of each combat, allowing her to quickly prime her Breath weapons. This also means that picking up additional Spark cards is helpful both to increase the rate at which she can pump out Breath attacks as well as to decrease the startup time on her first Breath attack.
The Dragon may not be a fan of Orobas, but she would be a fool to deny herself a way to get stronger. The Archaic Tooth transforms Fiery Spark into Blazing Spark, increasing its potency, while the Touch of Orobas transforms her Dragonstone into the Divinestone. Likewise, Darv's Dusty Tome grants her a Heavenly Nest.
Blazing Spark: 0 Energy attack. Deal 5 (7) damage and gain 5 (7) Ember. At 5+ Ember, transforms into Blazing Breath (+).
Blazing Breath: 2 Energy attack. Deal 20 damage and gain 2 Firepower. Ember affects this card 2 times. Transform this back into Blazing Spark.
Divinestone: Gain 6 Ember and 1 Firepower at the start of combat.
Heavenly Nest: 0 Energy Power. (Innate.) If you end your turn with excess Energy, gain 2 Energy at the start of your next turn. Eternal.
Isnât heavenly nest just Paelâs Flesh? Maybe make it just as broken as the other Tome cards, but also more expensive?
Like:
Heavenly Nest - Tome - Power - 3 energy
Gain 3 (4) energy at the start of each turn
Especially since she has so many high-cost cards.
