Sunlight & Crumbs: A Home Built for Two (and a Lot of Dinosaurs) 🦖🦕

[Leena’s POV] It’s not big, but it’s ours. A room that smells like cinnamon in the morning, with toy dinosaurs tucked into every corner. Where bedtime stories are read from a flour-dusted recipe book, and giggles echo louder than worries. I used to dream of quiet. Now, I dream of Tobi’s laugh. And maybe… just maybe, a bit of quiet when he naps.

Grim's room: 80% shadows, 20% softness

[Nate speaking] Okay so. imagine knocking on the door of a cryptid and they actually open it. That’s what happened. Grim said “you can take a few photos.”

Translation: “you have 0.5 seconds before I change my mind.”

This room is: – 70% shadows – 20% ancient books probably bound in leather – 10% espresso machine that could fight God

Somehow it’s also... calming? Like the library your soul stumbles into when it’s tired.

Anyway, we had about 15 minutes of photo-taking in respectful silence— UNTIL Tobi wandered in, looked around, and dead serious said:

“Wow. This is like Batman’s bedroom.”

Grim didn’t blink. I have never been prouder of the kid.
