COLONEL SANDERS, I LOVE YOU!!!! Happening tonight at 8pm EASTERN!!!!
Conspiracy Theory on Snacks
I made a snack cart full of Asian food, mainly from Korea. It is a glorious snack cart and it sits next to my desk. It holds strawberry milk, Ramune, Dream Cakes, Ramune (not the American version), and so much more! But, in sampling all these snacks, I’ve made an interesting discovery.
Now, it’s no secret I’m on the fluffy side of life. I love food. A lot. I love exploring different cultures through their foods and experiencing new tastes daily. Food is almost a hobby, at this point. But here’s the thing- too much food turns you into a fluffy marshmallow.
There’s nothing wrong with that!!! I’ll be writing a big entry on self love, soon, which is another soap box. But let’s get back to my “discovery”.
I’m full.
Seriously, one snack and I’m done. One drink and I’m satisfied. One item and one item alone makes me content. This ranges from the seafood chips to the Sparkling Wine Kit Kats.
However, when I eat American food, I am never satisfied. I never feel full. I wonder why this is?
If you look at Asian cultures, their figures (as a whole) are a bit thinner than Americans. Their portions are smaller, for sure, as I live in the Southern United States where everything is gigantic. But how is it that I can’t eat one small bag of Doritos and feel the same level of full as a few Happy Panda chocolate cookies?
I have a theory. The US is huge into making profits over anything and everything else. I think that the food in the US is specifically engineered to make us want more, get addicted to it, and eat more for greater profit. Health? Pffff. Profit? Yes.
Since moving to Asian snacks (Thank you HMart!) I’ve lost about 3 lbs. I’ve not done anything except eat less because I’m absolutely more satisfied and full more of the time.
This is just a theory. I have no science to back this up. But I tell you what, I think the US wants us unhealthy, obese, and paying to be so. No one likes to feel hungry.
Just a thought. Feel free to comment!
Y’all. You’re missing out on shenanigans on my stream. ;) www.twitch.tv/FuchsiaCandi

I will be streaming Splatoon2 Splatfest at 9pm Eastern tonight! https://www.twitch.tv/fuchsiacandi
Getting ready for Splatfest this weekend!!! I'll be streaming starting tomorrow around 9pm Eastern!
My ranks as of my today. I'm almost B+ in Splatzones, and the rest are coming along nicely. I WILL X RANK. It's just gonna take some time.
A little Clam Blitz!!! I’m trying to get myself from C- Rank to X Rank in Splatoon2. Wish me luck! It’s a long road ahead! I’ll be streaming my progress on weekends, and you’re welcome to join in! I’ll be trying out for a League team on Saturday, so I’ll make sure to post how that goes! I’m not expecting more than just having fun at my first try-out, tbh.
Changes
Hi everyone!! This Tumblr is no longer just a showcase of cosplay. The pandemic slowed down my cosplay progress, and I’ve shifted my attention to creating bigger projects that take more time rather than a set number of cosplays per year.
With that, I’ve updated all my socials to reflect simply FuchsiaCandi as I’m rebranding. What does this mean for you?
Well, good news! You’ll get a more personal experience with me. You’ll see my gaming. You’ll see my computer build progress. You’ll still see my cosplay. In fact, this page will become quite a bit more active as a result.
I hope you enjoy the changes I’m making and don’t hesitate to KEEP. IN. TOUCH.
