Me too. No money + distance + severe fear of flying = sad feels.

I love it when my fandoms intersect, especially fandoms as obscure as those two. XD
I'm checking out an AIW tape from my university library, and the label said "preschool" and I had to laugh.
The way that this show is underestimated astounds me. I have a preschool-age niece and we watched AIW just a week ago. She kept squirming around even though I tried three different episodes, and then she told me it was boring. Clearly, she couldn’t make heads or tails of it, and they were talking too much.
I think the better age-group is 5-12. And I end it at 12 only because that’s the age everyone worries about being cool. They probably would still enjoy it past that age, at least in secret. ;) Or not secretly at all, to which I and many of you can attest.
I was 5 when AIW premiered in 1991, maybe a little older when I actually started watching it. And I was still watching it at least occasionally when they stopped running it, so 1997-ish? (I seem to remember that Bear in the Big Blue House usurped its time slot.) Anyway, I agree, it's more suited to the elementary school crowd; too old for the preschool shows but not quite ready for the tween/teen stuff.
I think part of the reason it was mislabeled in the library might be that they don't really make shows for that age group anymore. The older-than-preschool-but-younger-than-preteen group. Maybe I'm wrong, since I don't have kids and don't really keep up with current kids' shows, but just based on what I see when I walk into the toy aisle, they outgrow Dora and go straight to Hannah Montana with no stops in between.
I wonder if this is also part of the reason AIW hasn't been released on DVD, that they don't feel like there's an audience for it.

Suprises and not so much of a suprise

She spit some venom back but it had to be expected becauseJillian is so beloved by the Snob fanbase. Maybe fans will warm up to Mantis, maybe not. I just hope she and Brad do ok together. I wish the best for Jillian to find someone herself. How can she not? She’s a bombshell. I’m glad Team Snob is staying together. Let’s be honest, the fans collectively can be a lot like high school gossip.”
I didn't actually watch the whole video, but Mantis' handling of the trolls in the comments endeared her to me right away. Some of the comments were downright nasty. The comments on the Best and Worst of the Summer video weren't much betters. It's pretty outrageous what some people think is fair game for comment. Boundaries, people, get some!
