I know today is wonderful Wednesday but I felt that I needed some more Malcolm to get through this day. To be honest I need a lot of Malcolm today…. because this day started off as total shit.

I-I-I thought I’d die there.” His voice was frail and the stutter was only the first of many side effects from the mental and physical trauma.

Ollie winced, expression pained when Malcolm’s hand brushed against his ribcage. Internal bruising from months of abuse, and worse yet Ollie first reaction was to start apologizing as though it was his fault. Mumbled and frightened. “I’m-I’m sorry.”

“Don’t.” Malcolm breathed the words, more quiet than a whisper against Ollie’s lips. He adjusted his hold based of when and were the other flinched and when he recoiled, until his hands found Ollie’s and he laced their fingers together. “You’ve got nothing to apologize for – especially not to me.”

It was so foreign to him now, the idea he could be loved. And the fact that this man, Malcolm Tucker, so thoroughly feared by so many was the one providing that comfort. It made him surge with energy, taking some initiative to kiss Malcolm with passionate intent. His heart was pounding against his chest, blood rushing in his ears. He held onto the other man's hand with a frail grip, as tight and as hard as he could.
