But think about it, Rossi would be a terrible choice for team leader, and he wouldn’t even want to do it, he cannot navigate diplomacy and politics because he actively chooses not to, Reid isn’t the best leader, he’s said it himself before on the show, he’s not the alpha male (it also wasn’t depreciating, he does not want to be that figure).

So we’re left with the new guy, which isn’t going to happen, Tara, whom when we left off was not even a full time member of the team (though this might chance along with her cast status?) which could theoretically work and i’d be for, but…

Jennifer Jareau, JJ who has proven herself adept at political land mines, JJ who can talk and work the press without breaking a sweat, Jennifer who knows both how to profile, deal with local law enforcement and is a damn good shot to boot. She is in high demand.
