  peter was studying her in silence for a few minutes, keeping himself a bit tense. as if waiting for the other shoe to fall. bringing his lips into his mouth for a split second, finally breaking the silence. “ okay, let me have it.” breaking his serious tone up with a small chuckle, “ you’re not planning on giving me a verbal kicking too? tell me that…I’m an idiot for doing that?” he cut himself off before he could say anymore. not wanting to come off too aggressive, or like he was ungrateful for her help now.

“ but…uhm…thanks. for–well–this. I’m glad you’re here to help. and that you’re–you know, not hurt.”

She had been watching him closely, careful not to say anything. She had her med-kit ready at her side. Her gaze flickered to his face, and then back to the nasty scrape on his arm. ❝No... I wasn’t going to say anything...❞ She dabbed at his arm carefully and cleaned around the edges. ❝Do I think you’re an idiot? Yes. A cute idiot, but an idiot indeed.❞

Being in his arms again, she felt... safe. Loved and cared for. Feelings she never had with anyone else, other than Peter. She was practically wrapped up in him and she pecked his face affectionately. ❝I promise I’ll be gentle next time.~❞ According to all her friends, she always kept her promises...
