#{ out of bourbon;; ooc }#we've been so tired and stressed and the work load was becoming too much #basically many nurses at our facility all got sick with covid #so we didn't have enough staff #and I was sometimes doing 24hour shifts #then I'd come home and take care of mom before I could rest #it's a lot better now #I'm only working 2 days out of the week #I'm finally sleeping my full 8 hrs *sobs*#😩😩😩

So here’s what happened to me in the year 2020.

I got covid during the peak of the pandemic at the beginning of this year, I was out for a month and went straight to work after that. My sister was positive as well-- same reason, they weren’t giving us the proper PPE in the nursing facilities where we were working.

My mom started feeling not so great, and was in and out of hospitals starting from January. Had a coronary bypass Nov. 16 of this year, so I started to take care of her during my days off from work.
