That awkward moment when the actually awkward and cold people think that people like Brennan are the awkward and cold ones.

That awkward moment when warm and affectionate is a synonym for social, when in reality the warmest and most affectionate people are the ones like Brennan.

Note: you don't have to actually post any of my "submissions". I added the pictures to illustrate some of teh scenes I thought of when writing the text.

This last submission goes both to the real people, viewers, and characters of the show (based on actual, real people) It's a great anthropological study on how most people perceive Brennan-like people and how I've enjoyed laughing at the reactions Brennan's character got. How people perceived her - both the characters she met on the show (starting with Booth, and squints (only Angela, Zack, and Hodgins have gotten her in my opinion) and ending with the people she meets at work and outside work) and the viewers watching and commenting. It never fails to surprise me how anyone can perceive people like Brennan as cold and arrogant and strange, when in reality if you watch her, you see the opposite. Saw. In early seasons. She's become more like the real awkward people recently, in blending in with the tribe of the world as I say. It's the greatest anthropological study - in order to understand the tribe (in this case the so-called 'normal', warm people like Angela and others, who represent the social part of society), you have to become like them and act like them. That's how I take it. Because the other option - Brennan becoming "human" (like many people online have translated the change) - is something that I don't like. I see that as death of her person and individuality and becoming one of the 'sheep'. So I choose to look at it like a grand experiment of our human society and the ways we perceive and understand things that the writer is doing via her characters. End of story.
