We hope all our fellow VIPs are managing ok through this difficult time. This scandal has broken our hearts and rocked our fandom to its core. 

We completely understand any author who chooses to remove their works from public access. Every author has to decide how to do what is best for them. We would like to reiterate our policy of not supplying works that an author has chosen to take offline. 

That said, we would also like to alert people to the Orphaning Feature on AO3. This feature will remove an author’s link to a work altogether, but allow it to remain a part of our community, a piece of our fandom legacy and a memorial of a better time for VIPs as a whole. 

For anyone who is struggling, the Writercord Discord has a small, friendly community with a contingent of VIPs trying to support one another through this.

Nanowrimo on the K-Fic Discord
