Do you have any experience with Dupont brand silicone? I haven't found any reviews online for it and I found a lot at a local store for USD $0.50 each! This will be my second time using silicone and I had great results with GE brand the first time.

I'm just getting into decoden, and I was wondering about where you can find food-safe cabochons. Or would I have to make them? I have a to-go tumbler I want to decorate and want it to be safe to wash and reuse.

I'm not sure I understand this question? Food safe? Decoden isn't for eating! I would not advise letting any child put a deco case in their mouth. Silicone is a chemical and is NOT safe for kids!

Hi! I am recently new to decoden (only about four months or so). Do you have any advice on where to get cute/inexpensive resin cabochons? I order a lot from whole sale, but there aren't a lot of the really cute ones. I know etsy has a lot, but they aren't exactly on the cheaper side, especially with selling. Thanks!

Aliexpress is the cheapest. Sophie and Toffee is the cutest.

for previous anon: i think e6000 is actually epoxy too? so if resin or two part epoxy glue will stick e6000 ought to stick too. reversedly, if e6000 wont stick, theres a chance the other two wont stick either :S

Hi! I'm new to decoden and I use the piping bags from daiso with the plastic tips. Is there a certain way to clean them? Or do I need to get the metal (wilton) ones? When I was done all the silicone got stuck in the tip and I had to throw it away.

I just let it dry out and then use tweezers to pluck it when it's dry. The Daiso tips are kinda cheaply made so you will have to replace every so often :) but they work none the less!

I use personal. Business is really only for people with high volume of sales. I report my profits on my taxes separately from PayPal so I don't need it listed as a biz account.

I haven't seen if this has been answered yet, but do you guys know how to make the multicolored silicone whip.? Or at least the easiest way to do it.? Also same with resin molds, how to make them multicolored. Or if you have a link to a video that I can watch, tjat would be extremely helpful.!

Make the three colors and put into individual bags and cut the tips off, then put all three bags into a single bag with your piping tip at the bottom, feeding the three colored bags into it, slowly push the silicone down the three bags so it pipes the three colors evenly simultaneously. This is an advanced technique. Do not try if you are a beginner or have never used silicone before. ♡

Hey! I bought some clear cases off ebay, but they turned out to be flexible instead of "hard" (which the title said) it wasnt a lot of money, so I don´t want to start a case, but it´s still a waste since I don´t have an iPhone myself. Is there any option where I could still use it for decoden? Thank you! :D

Do you guys have a favorite store for the "creepy" cabs? Sophie & Toffee has SUPER cute cabs but I want to kind of expand my options to include the creepier ones like bones/bats/gory pieces etc. Any ideas? Oh and also! Where do you find those 1"/2" clear circles that you can put photos in? I cannot find them anywhere! Or if you have any keywords I can type into eBay/Amazon? Thanks so much in advance!

Promote through social media! I have taken a big hiatus from decoden and I know the second I promote myself I see it reflect in sales! So take photos! Post to your tumblr and Instagram and have promotions! People love a deal!

I use silicone bought from regular department/building stores and it works quite well, but how exactly do I color it? I'm aiming to use food coloring since it's very lot cost. do I just mix it in with my silicone? also I've been itching to put in glitter, do I just put some in with the silicone? (sorry, I'm quite a beginner!)

Yes and yes however less is more when you are experimenting with silicone color and glitter! A little goes a long way so just do some tests before going full case size!

Hello! I've been trying to figure out for the longest time what's the best brand to use for my silicone cases. I've seen darb online and such but I've heard the best is the silicone you can buy at a hardware store, is this true?? If so what brand would you recommend I'm from the USA
