Finally something completely original!  I present a collection of images of JTT licking his lips and showing his tongue.  The first four are from season 2 of Home Improvement.  #5 is the HI 100th episode party at Disney Studios in Burbank, California on April 7, 1995.  #6 is at the 20th Annual People's Choice Awards on March 8, 1994 where HI won "Favorite Television Comedy Series" for the 3rd year running.  And like any good researcher I have video evidence to back me up!
