i know...i've been gone for soooo long! i've been really busy with stuff here, and have still been searching for leif online....this recent vid didn't make me too terribly hopeful about his sobriety :o(

Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good. Life is too short— enjoy it. Cry with someone. It’s more healing than crying alone. Make peace with your past so it won’t screw up the present and the future. It’s OK to let your children see you cry.

Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about. If a relationship has to be secret, you shouldn’t be in it.

Take a deep breath, it calms the mind. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. It’s never too late to be happy. But it’s all up to you and no one else. When it comes time to go after what you love in life, don’t take no for an answer. Burn the nice candles, use the nice sheets, wear the nice lingerie, wear the nice clothes. Don’t save it for a special occasion. Today is special.

Over prepare, then go with the flow. No one is in charge of your happiness but you. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: ‘In five years will this matter?’ Always choose life. Forgive but don’t forget. Time heals almost everything. Give time, time. However good or bad a situation is, it will change. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.

it really is. NEVER wait to make something happen. NEVER wait to do something you want to do...move across the country, quit your job, talk to that cute girl/guy, do SOMETHING. anything. life is too short and unpredictable to just wait around to grow old. we may not even get that privilege.

can't sleep, but i have a full day of doggie baths and mani/pedis planned! i have 3 big dogs, so it takes almost all day LOL...especially since i have one dog with yucky skin problems, and her shampoo needs to sit on her skin for 20 minutes before rinsing...WHY I NO SLEEP!!

this just makes me lol so hard, i'm sharing it on ALL my pages! i know, i'm not right in the head...

sorry i've been a bit absent here, lately. been working on a lot of stuff around the house, and looking into moving....i NEED to get out of this nasty-ass cold weather! ...and, working on a fanfic.....oooooh! lol so, hopefully i'll be able to update more, since i've been pretty much failing so far... *sad face*

Some exciting news for Leif Garrett fans, apparently he’s been in Korea this month and has been performing some of the songs from his early career. He looks great and the performances are amazing, it’s nice to see he still has such a strong fanbase in Korea after all these years. :)

Update: He’s got a concert planned in Seoul for the 27th of this month. [source]
