The British academia in the late Victorian era was fraught with prejudice and enmity. In an act of rebellion against the system that refused to see past her sex, Molly Hooper chose instead to honour her studies at l’Université de Paris. A young English woman in a foreign land, loneliness was a sacrifice she had anticipated. Per chance, she was introduced by her mentors to James Moriarty, a prominent mathematics professor visiting from Oxford University. In him, Molly found the unlikeliest of companions, but the romance between a heretic and psychotic criminal mastermind seemed scripted to be a tragedy right from the start…

I want to either write or have someone else write a fic where Molly is the queen of some kingdom and everyone thinks she’s so great and fierce and in charge but behind the scenes Jim is pulling all the strings by blackmail or threats and she’s not in charge at all and at first she hates him but slowly falls in love with him and stands up for herself once she figures it out because he was only able to control her while she was scared of him and she’s not anymore

What made you ship Molliarty? ^_^

ConstantlyComic: This is a good question.  This is a very good question.  Well, I've always had a thing for bad-guyxnice-girl ships, and I think that's what originally drew me to Molliarty.  It helps that Lou is awesome and made some jokes about it.  Plus, you know, Andrew Scott's Moriarty just gives off such an intimidating-yet-sexy vibe, and I love the idea of Molly being someone who wouldn't put up with as much of his shit.
