Are you aware that (1) sheâs your cousin (2) your outfit is very, very far from okay
Young Men #27, 1954.
The one time when a villain stole Namorâs speedo so the it could be anazlyed for science. (Like he switched his trunks so that means he had to get Namor naked⊠damn that is villainous) Namor was pissed off that he was forced to wear an ugly outfit so he punched him into the sea.
Moral of the story: Donât touch Namorâs clothes.
Kids, be sure to buy your defense bonds so that this loser can get a date.

Namora learns of Namorâs DJ skills and he tries to deny it.
And we wonder why his ego is so inflated.

When will people learn that Namor only chooses to wear clothes when he feels like it?

Johnny Storm finding Namor Re-retelling in Tales of the Marvels: Inner Demons (1996)
This small story that brought Namor into the silver age is great. You can see the different ways comic artists drew the scenes. I personally love the last retelling in Tales of the Marvels: Inner Demons. The artwork is awesome and it has so many loose ends tied up. Like why was there a Sub-Mariner comic at the exact flophouse that Namor was staying at? That comic was great to read because everytime I thought that it that is all the backstory I am going to get, Nope they have even more backstory.Â
The first time was told from Johnny Stormâs point of view. The second time was a memory of Namorâs. The third time was told from the Namorâs bum friend (John) point of view. Basically saying that there are different ways to tell the same story and still keep it interesting. Tales of the Marvels is my favorite because you actually go on a journey with Namor. You see what it was like for him before Johnny showed up. I just really enjoyed the comic and the artwork was just so good. You can feel the grittiness of the forgotten people on the streets of New York.
(My squee moment was seeing the comic that Johnny Storm held in 1962 drawn the exact same way in the 1996 version. That of a Sub-Mariner comic. I just was really happy they drew it the same. Thanks @fuckyeahrichardiii )
With how much trouble Namor gave the Fantastic Four over the years I wonder if Johnny ever regretted giving Namor a shave?Â
Headcanon: Everytime Namor invaded New York, Ben would turn to Johnny and say: You just had to give a shave didnt you? Just had to throw him in the water?Â
Headcanon: Everytime Namor tried to get with Sue, she would turn to Johnny and say: Hey dont blame me for being into the guy! Youâre the one who found him.
Headcanon: Everytime Namor insulted Reed, he would turn to Johnny and say: The one time you are right about something the rest of us have to pay for it forever.
Headcanon: Johnny definitely regrets helping Namor get his memory back.
